Strong Sexy Hair

They are more expensive and only sold in salons, but you will notice a difference after one wash. They have better ingredients than the cheaper brands, which is why they are more expensive.

But after you finish the bottles, your hair will be in better shape. So, if you can't afford it all of the time, you can switch to a cheaper brand.

No shampoo will make your hair grow unfortunantly. A lot of people will tell you Mane N Tail will, but no it does not.

Keep your scalp healthy, wash your hair in warm or cool water as much as you can, because hot water dries out your scalp.

Trimming your hair will get rid of damaged ends and help your hair to grow out.

Prenatal vitamins will make your hair and nails stronger and grow faster.
Aveda's Damage Remedy line is amazing. I once bleached my hair from a dark red with black low-lights to platinum blonde, and my hair was EXTREMELY dry and damaged. It felt like straw. The Damage Remedy line helped to make my hair feel restored and healthier within a month. The line has three products that work together: a shampoo, conditioner, and a treatment. The shampoo and conditioner you can use daily (I, however, recommend that you only wash your hair 2-4 times a week, especially if it's dry, because if you wash it every day you will strip your hair of it's natural oils which you need to help get it healthier). The treatment is meant to be used once weekly and is basically a deep conditioner.

Aveda products are amazing to help restore your hair because they are one of the few USDA certified organic lines, and don't have any fillers (like alcohol, silicone, parabins, petroleum, etc) so you get maximum benefits and the best results from the products because your hair can more easily absorbs the nutrients in the products, an especially great advantage for damaged hair.

You can get all three products in a set from aveda.com for $74. If that's a little out of your price range, Nature's Gate makes some amazing shampoos and conditioners that can help get your hair healthier. I really love the Awapuhi and Biotin pairs. They're extremly nourishing, and are really great with split ends and just your every day dryness. Nature's Gate is a drugstore line that is also organic, and run about $6/bottle. You either buy them online or find a store near you at www.natures-gate.com.

If you decide agaisnt those two lines, just read the ingredients of shampoo and conditioner bottles at your local drugstore. Try to avoid products that contain silicone, sulfates, parabins, and alcohol. A lot of products that are meant to restore health to damaged hair actualy contain alcohol as a second ingredient. Alcohol will actually dry out your hair even more, which in the long run gets you to keep buying their products because you haven't gotten the wanted results from them. Products containing silicone will make your hair extremly shiney, but that's only because the silicone will sit on top of your hair reflecting light, and you don't really get any true benefits from the product. If you do decide to do a drugstore brand, Pantine is one of the worst you can buy. I'd avoid Neutragena and Garnier as well. Dove is one of the one of the better ones, but still isn't the best you could buy. Organix is good, and while it won't target any issues (like oily hair, dry hair, damaged hair, etc), it's great for all hair types and is very nourishing.

Try to avoid using hairsprays (they're mainly alcohol based, even organic ones), and avoid brushing your hair while it's wet. Wet hair is more elastic when it's wet, especially damaged hair, and it can pull and rip your hair causing further damage, weakness, dullness, breakage, and split ends. Use a wide toothed comb instead. Also, don't flat-iron, blow dry, curl, or generally apply heat to your hair. It, too, can cause further damage and make it harder to make your hair healthier.

I also recommed investing in a light weight leave in conditioner. Catwalk by TiGi makes a spray in conditioner called Fast-Fixx. Mist it in your hair while it's damp, it doubles as a detangeler, so it can make combing through your hair much easier. It's great for days between shampoos, too. You can spray some in your hair and brush it through, and it will absorb very quickly, helping to reduce frizz and making your hair easier to style.

Lastly, there isn't anything you can do to make your hair grow faster. The average person's hair grows 1/2 inch every month. It's next to impossible to make it grow faster than that. Although, damaged hair growth does slow down significantly so anything you can do to get it healthier will help. Don't forget to get your hair trimmed ever 4-6 weeks. It will prevent split ends and can help promote hair growth.
you can use dove intensive dryness i used it for years.. it also makes my hair silky soft..
