I have highlighted my hair twice, and sometimes it gets frizzy and dry, and the other times it gets oily! I don't know which shampoo to buy, oily hair shampoo or dry hair shampoo? My hair isn't damaged, but it can get kind of dry and limp. I would like volume in my hair and lots of moisture! What shampoo/conditioner should I use?Hair Help! What shampoo/conditioner should I use?
use loreal vive pro. it's pretty good :) i think you just need to get in the habit of washing your hair daily though if your hair gets oily a lot. if not try hydralicious from herbal essences, thats good too! (and cheaper!)Hair Help! What shampoo/conditioner should I use?
Hi,
I also have highlighted hair. The advice my hairdresser gave me was to use shampoo and conditioner that is designed specifically for dyed hair. Tigi 'Fashionista' is really good. Leave in conditioners are good too. You should also wash your hair at least twice each time, the first time you wash it you only get rid of the product, the second time actually cleans your hair.
I know this wasn't part of your question, but if you straighten your hair, try not to do so everyday, and use heat protection spray when doing so (and also before blowdrying). Believe me, it makes a big difference.
If you're looking for a longer-term solution, dying your hair brown would make it look more naturally glossy and healthy.
I would recommend the John Frieda Collection shampoo and conditioner. If you are specifically looking for a nice lift without any frizz, then i would get the luxurious volume set (shampoo and conditioner). This will resolve all your hair problems noticeably within one day of use and give you great volume. And if you would like to eliminate the frizz, then i would purchase the frizz-ease straight fixation creme that you can add on to your hair directly after getting out of the shower, and it will work like a charm. You can purchase these products at any hair care stores, salons, and mass-retailers.
By 2 days your hair will look mousturized, styled, and healthy, and the best part is that all john frieda products are safe for color-treated hair. Enjoy!
i have the exact same situation.
soo my sister recommended herbal essences ';body envy'; shampoo and conditioner and it's amazeing and cheap! i love it! and as a plus it smells realyyy good:)
Herbal Essences all the way. Get the kind for colored hair.
