Ladies, what is your favorite shampoo & conditioner?

Tell me what's you favorite shampoo %26amp; conditioner of all time and tell me why it works for you and what kind of hair you have. Easy ten points :]Ladies, what is your favorite shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
I actually love an organic brand called Giovanni, i use the 50:50 calming balancing line. I also use the smooth as silk. i have damaged fine hair from bleaching and dyeing and it really helps restore my hair. i also have a tooon of hair and it makes it manegable. it also has no alcohol to strip the color. its nice seeing natural ingredients in my shampoo :DLadies, what is your favorite shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
right now I have to say my fave shampoo is Optimum Oil Therapy Ultimate Recovery. I'm black and have relaxed hair. my hair tend to tangles while washing and this shampoo detangles and softens my hair while washing. Also it doesn't strip my relaxer.

my fave conditioner is organics hair mayonnaise. It keeps my hair from being over processed by relaxers and strengthens it. It dangles my hair also.
Jason kid's shampoo and conditioner. I've used it since I was a kid and haven't stopped. It works wonders because it is so gentle. I tried using adult shampoo but it dried the hell out of my hair. btw, my hair is extremely thick, long to my hips, and very wavy with some curls. I have only ever washed my hair once per week.

I use it:

once per week, after oiling the night before. no blowdrying or flatironing.
well, i like pantene.. i have dyed hair soo i need a strong shampoo.. and conditioner and i find pantene makes my hair shiny soft and strong and looks like i dont even dye my hair cause if i dont use good shampoo it gets all dryed out looking! blaa! its horrible!
I use tresame. I have medium length hair, and it is kind of between thick and thin. It works because, it makes my hair like really soft (if you buy the shampoo + conditioner). It also keeps it fresh, even if you forget to take a shower the day after. I love it!
I love Aveeno hair shampoo is great it nourish my hair also the Tresemme is very good I really like it makes my hair soft nice I use both my hair look amazing you should give a try.
Tresame (The best kind ever!!!!!!!!!!) It works for my thick hair!!!!!
i like bedhead but my fav is definitely paul mitchell products for sure..i love their stuff...=)

I've used them, i think its really good and gives your hair a nice shine.

If your not sure about using it, buy the little bottles that your supposed to take on holiday that way you can try them and if you don't like it then it only cost you a couple of pounds and if you do like it then you can buy a normal bottle for everyday use. Hope this helps :)
they are all right i like garnier fructis the best. I feel like its better for my hair cuz the tresemme feels like it ways my hair down more and and light and fluffy feeling you know just kinda blah.
Really good, I'd recommend it. A bit pricey, but well worth it and it makes you're hair smell nice for days afterwards.
Good but a bit expensive
I have i really like it

  • Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for breakage?

well my hair is breaking because i get relaxers and straighten my hair often...so wat the best shampoo and conditioner for itWhats the best shampoo and conditioner for breakage?
No grocery store shampoos will help. The absolute best product for damaged hair is Joico Kpak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor. Any of Joico's shampoos and regular conditioners will work well with it. It will put the protein back into your hair shafts. (Hair is made of protein.) If your hair is breaking off and that damaged, it's worth the investment.Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for breakage?
i use garnier long and strong shampoo and then dove intense repair conditioner. they both work really well. you don't always have to use matching products. there is also a garnier called strength and repair or something and that works really well too.
Use Pantene products! They are the best ever. My hair is so soft and silky and nice after using it that even my boyfriend who never notices anything noticed!
    Treseme anti-breakage with gelatin.

    Or sunsilk hydra tlc.
    Garnier.

    Anti-dandruff.

Yes yes I know...anti-dandruff - but it does work

What's a good shampoo and/or conditioner for guys?

Kinda depends on what type of hair you have, and what besides clean, you are wanting the shamp. and cond. to do for you.

Matrix has a cool shampoo that has a kinda built in gel in it. Helps style you hair if you want it styled. There is also back to basics for men. Cleans well and has a sexy smell to it.

Dove will make your hair nice and soft. What's a good shampoo and/or conditioner for guys?
Same as a good shampoo/conditioner for girls. Depends on your hair type. What's a good shampoo and/or conditioner for guys?
The same ones as for girls...

Is it ok to wash your private areas with shampoo and conditioner once a month?

it's not reccommended to use any type of soap down there, let alone shampoo and conditioner. instead you're supposed to use only warm water or a feminine care wash that's formulated for intimate cleansingIs it ok to wash your private areas with shampoo and conditioner once a month?
no. I used to do this all the time, but then an ob told me it could cause vaginal irritation and INFECTIONS, so I stopped. the vagina is self-cleansing, you really dont need to ';wash it out';, bc it washes itself out. Of course spray water in the shower on it though but that's it.Is it ok to wash your private areas with shampoo and conditioner once a month?
why would you? why don't you just use a soap just for your private areas like summers eve if you use shampoo and conditioner that could really break your skin out down there and be very painful
um well shampoo is like soap.........you should be washing your private areas every frikkin day......really conditioner is pointless unless your hairy in that area and are trying to make it soft....in which case makes you kinda weird
    Yes but dont use conditioner
    Wash with Tide instead.
    Sure but conditioner?

You should wash more than that too..
yes, but you need not use conditioner
your going to get a yeast infection from all the perfume in shampoo
    use bar soap daily..
Ummm...I highly doubt it...they mkae special soap for that type of thing....

Do you u use shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatment all in the same day?

i gots very frizzy hair and damaged hair, and have just bought the infusium 23 frizzologie steps 1-3

I am wondering does it work? and do u apply all three things the same day.

Also why does my hair when i am shampooing or conditioning my hair come off a bit?

Is it due to the years of damage?Do you u use shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatment all in the same day?
you can but wash your hair AT MOST every other day! I have dry hair to and there is no need to wash it every day.

also, when you do wash it, it is not necessary to shampoo it every time because that takes moisture out of your hair.

In a nutshell: as long as you dont wash your hair every day then yes, u can use all 3 products at onceDo you u use shampoo, conditioner, leave in treatment all in the same day?
    yup plzzz answer
Use shampoo, conditioner and leave-in one day, then the next just conditioner and leave-in. Alternate that every other day. And everyone has a little hair fall out, that's normal.
After i practically shaved my head, i stopped using shampoo and conditioner. I get complements allot about how nice my hair is. It has no split ends and is never greasy. I still use hair product, but nothing harsh or anything with alcohol in it.

People have always had hair, but shampoo is a recent invention. It's bad for your hair...
You shampoo and condition your hair in the shower and after you towel dry your hair that's when you put the leave in treatment in. I don't know what to tell you about how to handle your hair, you should get the opinion of about 3 different hair stylists at three different salons to get an okay answer ask more for the best answer. As the hair stylists that know what they are talking about will all tell you the same thing and you will see a pattern and then follow that advice and if your hair changes again do the same thing. Oh and be ready for each of them to sell you some severly overpriced product. I think they get commission. Follow the same directions, if they offer you the same products at different places follow the pattern and buy the most recommended one. I think this is the best way to get the best advice and save you from buying many unneeded, overpriced and useless products.
    wow thats like me.

Yeah, use it all same day.
I have only even left it in all day once, which is when I had profound knots.
    lolwut
Yeah, everyday. Just don't use too much shampoo or conditioner.

    :D

Is it best to use the same brand of conditioner as your shampoo?

?Is it best to use the same brand of conditioner as your shampoo?
No way. You can use any shampoo that you'd like. Just avoid the cheap stuff as it has more detergent and is not as great on your hair. Now, conditioner is also customized. I use a regular shampoo from Pantene and a pricey conditioner.

It is a marketing strategy to make us think that we have to stay within the same brand. Is it best to use the same brand of conditioner as your shampoo?

They can work together well, but if you have more than one ';type'; of hair, such as curly and dry, you can get a shampoo to treat one problem and a conditioner to treat the other. There are benefits of both, but using the same isn't the best!
I do not think so. You would be limiting your options and missing out on the benefits of others.
No, it's not, but it might be more convenient.

    What shampoo/conditioner should i use?

I have a bunch of shampoos, but my hair is very dull looking with flyaways. how should i use my conditioner, and what are some good home remidies/recipes to put in hair? you could also recomend a good brand name or type of shampoo/ condish. thank you! also i think my hair is kinda dry and not shiny. what kind of shine spray could i buy or make? my goal is to get shiny healthy hair. What shampoo/conditioner should i use?
try the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine system of shampoo, conditioner and serum. i use the conditioner on a regular basis and works great!

no more pesky flyaways and it makes your hair shiny all day long. after using most of the time, my hair stayed flat and shiny all day, even after a tiring day of school.

i would ask whoever bonded your hair. chances are they're keratin bonds and then you should be using a keratin fortified shampoo and conditioner. often the hair co. that created the hair and bonds sells a shampoo and conditioner made just for their products. by far that's the absolute best.

Is it ok to use sulfate shampoo if using a moisturizing conditioner after?

I heard that shampoos with sulfates in them strip your hair of moisture.

But sulfate free shampoos are very expensive.

Would it be ok to use a regular shampoo then an anti frizz moisturizing conditioner treatment afterwards to put back the moisture? Is it ok to use sulfate shampoo if using a moisturizing conditioner after?
    Um,

    that's kind of like,

removing hair color from your hair, then putting back the same color in.

Or, eating something, and then vomitting it back out.

    Something along those lines.

I wouldn't suggest it. Just use baking soda instead of that sulfate shampoo, Ammonium and Sodium Lauryl REALLY strip EVERYTHING from your hair, it's usually in clarifying shampoos. Or just don't shampoo your hair at all! Conditioner contains some cleaning agents, and 90% of people who use shampoo in there hair really don't need it. Check out the word co-washing.

How long will it take for mane and tail shampoo and conditioner to make your hair grow?

i just got sme from walmart yesterday and i was just wonderin how long will it take to grow..because my hair is short and i hate it...and hair is really important to meHow long will it take for mane and tail shampoo and conditioner to make your hair grow?
It's not going to make your hair grow faster than it's supposed to. Do some research on hair growth and it's different phases and you'll stop being a victim of these types of marketing ploys. Nothing can make your hair grow faster than it's supposed to because hair growth (and length) is determined by genetics. If your DNA determines that your hair should grow 1 inch per month, then no product or special concoction can make it grow faster than that, although there are things that can make it grow slower.

BTW, on average, hair grows 1/2 inch per month, or six inches per year. Most people fall into this average. How long will it take for mane and tail shampoo and conditioner to make your hair grow?

    Apparently after the first use

Also, could you tell me how much mane and tail was? Im thinkning about getting it..
it will take as long as any other shampoo you use.

try eating a banana every day. that will make your hair and nails grow faster

  • What shampoo/conditioner do u recommend?

I have long dk brown, wavy hair. I don't need anything expensive. Is Dove any good??What shampoo/conditioner do u recommend?
my dermatologist told me that since dove is creamy or moisturizing. it is not advisabel that you use dove if you have oily hair. it would give you b reakout of pimples at your back or on your face but if you have dry hair, maybe it's good :)What shampoo/conditioner do u recommend?
it's not what you use.it's how you use it.don't just pick one brand.everytime you buy new hair products you have to switch it up.try to use products with ingredients like olive extract, alchol free in hair sprays and gels, mousses.try to buy in a salon because normal store brands usually aren't great for ur hair but if you do choose to use them then also get like a little tub of deep moisterizing creme for ur hair.it will help keep ur hair from drying out with the store boughts.and pantene leaves a layer of wax on ur hair which is what gives the so called shine.ruins ur hair after a while of using it.you don't want to use anything to make ur hair soft.you want it to make ur hair softer over time.dove is good stuff.i like it alot.that and neutrogena
i have long red curly hair and i have used Dove almost exclusively for a year and my hair is still great. Pantene and thermasilk are not good. I have known several people who's hair was falling out while using those products. There are all kinds of choices for Dove and it doesn't weigh your hair down. I use intense moisture, because I tend to have dry hair. But two thumbs up for Dove.
Go for Pantene or Head and Shoulders
    Tresseme
    vc or dove
My girlfriend likes Dove because she says it makes her hair feel nice, and she loves the way it smells. She has long, dark wavy hair too. I don't care for it much cuz I don't go for anything that smells ';too girly';. I mostly just use my Axe body wash cuz i'm lazy, lol. When I feel like usin actual shampoo, I like Paul Mitchell. It smells nice, and makes my hair smooth.
    dove is great!!!!!
SUNSILK. YOU HAVE A WIDE VARIETY TO CHOOSE FROM.
I have long, thick brown hair and the best shampoo/condition I ever used was Aussie. I swear that stuff tames my hair and my hair has a mind of its own. The other product that worked was Mane and Tail, which is amazing as well.

no, dove is not good.. go for pantene
rejoice is the best.. its proven by myself
Check your local drug stores, even Target. Depending on the conditon of your hair there are many products to choose. Bed Head shampoo and conditioner works well.

There are many price categories out there.

    Aussie cleanse and mend shampoo/conditioner?

Hey, recently my hair started to get oil build up on the top on my hair. I bought Aussie cleanse and mend, i used it today, and it seems to be working. How long will it take to see the finishing result?Aussie cleanse and mend shampoo/conditioner?
It really depends on your hair type. I had that exact same problem a couple years ago and then switched to Aussie Clense %26amp; Mend (it was called Dual Personalities then). I have very dry hair usually, so I wash it no more than three times per week. Anyway, I noticed a drastic improvement in about a week. And I haven't switched to any other product since. According to my beautician, it's a really good one too, and normally they don't recommend anything other than salon products.Aussie cleanse and mend shampoo/conditioner?
    prolly between 1-2 weeks.

    I use that shampoo too!

    its fantastic

No it is now true. teh best shampoo to use is the one you like and best suits your hair. Good Luck.
    no
No way. You get grey hairs due to genetics. Stress can also be a factor.
    Its not true.

Why is it bad to use one Brand of Shampoo and a different on conditioner?

Why is it bad to use one Brand of Shampoo and a different on conditioner?? Does it help? Is it worse??Why is it bad to use one Brand of Shampoo and a different on conditioner?
It isn't bad. Use whatever works for your hair. Companies simply try to market their products to make you think that you have to buy both the shampoo and conditioner, or their entire skincare line, or only their cosmetic products, etc...Why is it bad to use one Brand of Shampoo and a different on conditioner?
most companies make their products to work together to get the full advantage. I own my own spa business and my products are made to work together to active certain ingredients and i know that there are a lot of companies out there that do the same thing...
    its not good or bad

it depends what works for your hair

on my hair i use a curly hair shampoo but the conditioner was a little to heavy and greasy so i use a light detangling one instead
i didnt know, but maybe b/c the ingredients are made to use with eachother i suppose=)

  • What type shampoo or conditioner can I use to make my hair soft and smooth?

Trust me on this one...I have been on a shampoo and conditioner rampage and found that Dove shampoos are FANTABULOUS!!!! This is what it did for me: it made my hair smell good, soft, silky, voluminous, shiny, and most of all my husband constantly rubs his fingers through it 24/7!!!!What type shampoo or conditioner can I use to make my hair soft and smooth?
If you value your dollars (and, who doesn't) remember that most big drugstores (Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, etc) have very lenient return policies on all health and beauty aids. So try the Sunsilk and use it for a week or so, and if it doesn't work for you, return it and get the Pantene, and if that doesn't work, exchange it for the John Frieda, and so on. Everyone's hair is different, so what works great for me may be horrible for you.

If you are looking for more high-end designer products, most of those retailers will provide sample packets. And, like a drugstore... they will certainly invite you to return an unsuccessful product for an exchange or a refund.

And ditto the person who recommended keeping at least a couple of kinds handy and switching it up every week or so.What type shampoo or conditioner can I use to make my hair soft and smooth?
    Biolage
i was just informed that ';sunsilk'; is suppose to be really good. compared to high end stores. it is cheap to under $4 . you can get it at drugstores dot com.
    moisturizer shampoo
I've been around the block with shampoos tried almost everysingle one out there and none have worked forme as much as dove has it leaves your hair sosoft that you dont even have to comb it.
try mane n tail...my sister loves it. myself, i use jhirmack.
Johnson and Johnson Baby shampoo does wonders
Pantene...its very cheap %26amp; good also.
The Dove line of shampoos and conditioners are the best I have found so far. No build up and they leave my hair feeling great and healthy. I do every so often use the Neutrogina shampoo just for extra cleansing.
Pantene Pro-V. The best i have ever used it is inexpensive you can get it at any store. It makes my hair silky and soft and the conditioner makes you hair easy to comb and even softer!
If you have dark hair, use Brillant Brunette by John Frieda... it makes my hair look EXTREMELY healthy and shiny. It's great. But if you're blonde or a redhead, they have the same type of shampoo for those certain hair colors, so I would definately suggest trying that..
You need to use several different types of shampoos and conditioners. Get one daily cleaners, use once a week. use and moisturizing type, two days a week. Then any other kind for the other two days.
Garnier Fructis all the way.. they have a bunch of different kinds of shampoos for almost any problem...everything i have used of theres has work wonders...and you can get it like anywhere basically
pantene does its work and is very cheap too.
    White Rain

Do you need the Chi Conditioner WITH the Shampoo in order for it to work?

I just bought the Chi shampoo at target and they didn't sell the conditioner, so I'm just using my normal Tresemme conditioner with it. Will the Chi shampoo still do its work on your hair even without the conditioner? do you have to use them together..?Do you need the Chi Conditioner WITH the Shampoo in order for it to work?
Shampoo companies are always using marketing to try and convince you that using BOTH the matching shampoo and conditioner together is the only way for it to be effective. That's a load of crap. They're trying to get you to spend more money. You can always mix and match to suit your needs/price budget. However, I would recommend that if you're going to choose ONE, you should always spend more on your conditioner. Shampoos aren't a huge deal, but the conditioner is what is really going to keep your h air healthy.

Does redken shampoo and conditioner have beer in it?

i always use Redken shampoo and conditioner and it makes my hair soo soft and smooth. But my friend slept over last night and after she got out of the shower she asked why my shampoo and conditioner smelled like beer..

i never noticed it but she said she knew it right away.

and i know beer is good for your hair but i was wondering if the Redken brand ha beer in it or any similiar ingredients??

thanks bunchesDoes redken shampoo and conditioner have beer in it?
Not sure, but I've heard beer is good for your hair.Does redken shampoo and conditioner have beer in it?
    NO!!!! Redken is made up of all natural ingredients and does not contain beer. Every one has their own sense of smell and different things may smell different to another. At my job we use Redken products. I would know if their is beer in their product. Also, I think some stylist would probably try to drink it if it had beer in it. LOL%26gt;
Ya know, I thought I was friggin crazy! I was using that Redken color glaze stuff and I thought the same thing! I even wrote a review to drugstore.com about it and they didn't publish it, probably because it said ';beer';. I doubt there is really beer in it, but i do agree that it smells that way!!!

I wash my hair with shampoo adn conditioner every day and then blowdry abd staighten it every day. im 15 years

old. what effects will this have on my hair later on. btw i dont use any products at all. and how long will it take until my haris totally ruined and burnt out?I wash my hair with shampoo adn conditioner every day and then blowdry abd staighten it every day. im 15 years
idk how long it will take exactly...but it wont be too long from now. You should try about 3 times a week leaving ur hair natural with no straightener. Lets say you straighten ur hair monday morning....on monday night, dont wash your hair or get it wet, leave it straight since you would restraighten it the next morning. THis is what a professional hair stylist told me to do with my hair.

    Eh,

    For a while.

    Not very long

    .Especially if you straighten it.
yes its an awesome product. Also try some of their other options to help poofy hair, they have a wax for smoothness and I am sure other things too!
    I recommend Herbal Essences.
It is amazing. It made my hair 50% less poofier!

I need a shampoo/conditioner that won't weigh my hair down?

and helps rid of greasy hair... what would you recommend?I need a shampoo/conditioner that won't weigh my hair down?
Don't use drugstore shampoos, always buy from a salon. Does you hair tend to be on the oily side? If so, I would say stop using conditioner, except on the very ends of your hair. Don't put it on your scalp or sides.

I like the Aveda line of shampoos. They are natural and smell so fresh and clean.

Im looking for a good gentle shampoo/conditioner?

    Vo5 Orange/Strengthener.

    check out their other fragrances.

Vo5 Usually on sale most grocery outlets, from .69 cents each to just over a dollar$.

    Shampoos match the Conditioners fragrances.

I for one cannot stand over perfumed people, or much perfume at all. Acts up my lungs/Asthma.
Garnier Fructis - cheap and smells fruity but not overpoweringly. The 2-1 seem to suit my hair, it leaves it shiny and manageable and amazingly my hair doesn't need washing as often if I use this shampoo.
    PANTENE smells Awesome!

My hair still smells good and I took a shower like 36 hours ago!
I use Aussie. It runs at about $3 and smells great, even the hairspray smells great. It comes in moistureizing, voulmizing, clean, etc. I was told by people around me that it does smell good.
suave cucumber melon shampoo and condiitioner

I have had my hair bleached blonde. What is the best shampoo and conditioner?

It used to be such smooth hair but now it gets all matted after i come out of the shower and it isn't nice anymore :(I have had my hair bleached blonde. What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
Senik solid shampoo from lush..Softening sea salt shampoo scented with jasmine, mimosa and orange blossom.

Many of our planet's most potent nutrients come from the deep blue sea. Lush has them brought ashore to create an ocean blue shampoo bar with protein-rich, softening Irish moss seaweed, Japanese nori seaweed and sea salt to leave your hair soft and nourished. We could have left it at that, but that's just not our way; we added lemon oil for extra shine, and the exotic far eastern fragrance of mimosa and jasmine, to bathe you in the heady scent of tropical flora.

    Best conditioner is

    Marilyn Hair treatment from Lush-

Softness, brightness and shine for blonde hair (real or otherwise).

Marilyn is for blondes who would like to stay blonde and become even blonder, in a gentle, soft, shiny, natural way.

Also like VO5 hot oil treatments.

Or try a hair mask Aussi makes a great hair maskI have had my hair bleached blonde. What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
use bed head shampoo and condition with the organix tea tree conditionar. thats what i always used. (:
Use Wella Treatment they sell at Sallys this works best to make soft again
    i am white blonde

i always use aussie 3 minute mirical . deep treatment shampoo and conditioner

leave the conditioner in for an hour or so if it that bad

but no over night because it changes your hair to like yellow
Hey i had my hair bleached blonde too n found that now i always have to use a intensive conditioner aswell as a normal condition to keep it looking healthy and in good condition.

I tend to use products for blonde hair as it helps to maintain the colour well although some u cant use every day only once a week other wise it could make ur hair change colour..So between my blonde shampoo washes i use one for a dry/damaged hair.

The blonde shampoo i use it by paul mitchell called Platinum blonde shampoo. For a cheaper version John frieda do a similar one for blonde hair.

It doesnt come with a condition so i use Redken extreme condtioner and Redken extreme deep fuel conditoning treatment, i also use their extreme shampoo between washes, but again u could find similar products in boots. But the quality of these ones are much better in my opinion.

Just make sure u use a intensive conditioner aswell at ur norm one concentrate more on the ends n length than the roots as u dont wanna make ur hair greasy %26amp; go for shampoos for either blondes/or damaged hair.

    hope this helped

Dyed hair - Do i need to use special colour shampoo/conditioner?

or can i just use normal shampp and conditioner, im using the dye beginning with S,( sorry forget how to spell it.)Dyed hair - Do i need to use special colour shampoo/conditioner?
You don't need to if you don't want to. But using shampoo and conditioner that is for people with colored hair preserves the color longer and keeps it vibrant. Your color will fade faster if you use regular shampoo and conditioner. Some s+c brands aren't specifically for people with colored hair, but they are color safe. I use Organix, and I have colored hair, and my color hasn't faded at all.Dyed hair - Do i need to use special colour shampoo/conditioner?
honestly I have dyed my hair a zillion times and i know the color treated is suppost to keep it from fading but if you usde a good dye it wont fade. I have used color stuff on and off with my hair.
The reason for using shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair is that it has ingredients to preserve your color and keep it from fading too fast. Regular shampoo doesn't have this and your color will fade quicker if you use it.
I dont always use a color shampoo or conditioner buut I hear the Matrix Color Shampoo is great!

When you wash your hair in one wash.

I use more conditioner.Do you use more shampoo or conditioner?
shampoo that's all i useDo you use more shampoo or conditioner?
i use more conditioner, cause for some reason i feel like it will make my hair more softer and glossier, it turns out the same even if i use a lil bit lol....its just out of habit now..i go through a whole bottle of conditioner a week lol
I always seem to get through the bottle of conditioner faster than i get through the shampoo... i think its due to the consistency of the conditioner.... its always thicker so somehow it gets used up much faster....
I have a 2in1 shampoo and conditioner which I use.

Apparently having curly hair I should use more conditioner, but this shampoo/conditioner I've got is especially for curly hair and has more conditioner in it. Cool!
I love shampoo, I just love the way it sounds too, the word.

I use lots of shampoo, and will usually wash my hair at least twice in one wash. I do use conditioner but I just leave it in extra long.
Conditioner, my hair is very dry, frizzy, brittle so i need a lot

Hmm both really, shampoo cos i wash my hair 2 times in one wash and then conditioner cos it makes my hair smooth and shiny..so im not sure which one i use more, maybe shampoo :D

my mother told me that Pantene does that

Why does salon brand shampoo and conditioner leave a matted/greasy residue in my hair, but cheap brands don't?

I've bought several different brands of salon shampoo and conditioner and it all does the same thing... then I'll use something like pantene or garnier the next day and it will be gone. I'm rinsing so so well too because I thought I just wasn't rinsing well enough. Why does salon brand shampoo and conditioner leave a matted/greasy residue in my hair, but cheap brands don't?
what happens is that the cheaper brands are thicker so you use less of it than the salon shampoo with more water

it washes your hair better and has less chemicals

K-Pak by Joico has top of the range shampoo, conditioner, and treatments for dry, damaged hair. It's full of the best quality ingredients and is proven by actual hairdressers to one of the best.

I used to use the Hydrator because I had coloured my hair heaps of times, because I was a hairdressing apprentice and my hair always had to look it's best, but I don't need it anymore, it did it's job ^^

You can find the list of K-Pak products here-

Well a really good shampoo I find is Pert or Herbal Essences; Hello Hydration. A good conditioner for a cheap price would be Garnier Fructis; sleek and shine or Herbal Essences; Drama Clean. If you want an expensive conditioner Try Pureology it works great and it has an anti-fade complex...so if your hair is coloured it will help it look nice and fresh.
Herbal Essences hello hydration is really good, at least the conditioner. I love the hydralicious purple shampoo too because it softens like a conditioner but doesn't weigh hair down.

Either that (and i don't mean to be cliche because these are always suggested) but Mane N Tail works beautifully! And it's usually on sale at Walgreens for buy1get1 free! how cool is that!
the pantene hair fall control is great the pink one and it just works my hair is more soft and i like it very very much and try it good luck:)
well.. usage of shampoo diff accordind 2 the texture of ur hair.. i feel patene is a good shampoo for dry nd damaged hair..
I don't know about expensive ones, but I swear by Pantene Pro-V, the blue one. I always get compliments fom hairdressers about how good the condition of my hair is - and I straighte it every day!!

  • What is a good shampoo or conditioner that reducues split-ends?

i want to grow my hair long so i don't want to cut off my ends cause it takes a while for my hair to grow... but i'm really tired of these split-ends cause i have brown hair and you can see it easily :[What is a good shampoo or conditioner that reducues split-ends?
I had a similar problem..what I did was switched my shampoo and conditioner to Garnier Frutis. It honestly works wonders. I also used the Dove Hair Repair treatment. BedHead also makes a product that after you get out of the shower you rub some type of oil in your hair and it fixes it...I've never used it but it was, however, recommended to me. This didn't completely fix my problem but it helped a lot. The only way to truely get rid of split ends is to cut them. What is a good shampoo or conditioner that reducues split-ends?
Well it's good to get a trim every now and then, if you don't get your ends clipped, then it would get higher and higher and higher and will reside to breakage. Depending on how fast your hair grows, you should trim it every now and then. I do it every 6-8 months. This summer was bad so i had to take a inch off. But trimming should be very minute. In your case they'll have to take a inch or two off yet your hair will be healthy. I recommend Pantene, it has various types of shampoos and conditioners Idk, which you'd like. They allways work and smells amazingly great :)

    Hope I helped.
I use Herbal Essences, Long term Relationship. It's specifically formulated for long hair.

You're going to get split ends regardless, the only way to get rid of them is by trimming them every two months about half an inch. The shapoo and conditioner only help slow down the process of getting split ends.
do all you can to not use heat at all on your hair for a while.. im doing the same thing and i know it sucks but it helps sooo much (even blowdriers are bad 4 ur hair)) it helps and then just use a good brand that says that it repairs/reduces split ends and breakign
BedHead or Paul Mitchell are both excellent. If you need something a little cheaper, try Herbal Essences. If you want to disguise the split ends, get a small bottle of Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum. It's about six bucks and does a great job with split ends!

Whats a good organic shampoo and conditioner?

i want it so that i don't damage my hair more then it already is. Im white and have somewhat fine hair, so nothing to oily or heavy. i just want something natural so that my hair can grow faster without all the buildup of unnatural products.

also, preferably some type that could help make hair straighter??

but anything is fine. also, preferably make it under $20Whats a good organic shampoo and conditioner?
I absolutely love Miessence. I'm not sure what country you are in and if it would be available but the website that I use is lynellew.mionegroup.com Just be careful, because there are a lot of products out there that claim to be organic and they are not. I did lots of buying and researching before I found this company and I couldn't be happier. Just remember that when you change to organic, it takes about a month for your hair to feel good again as it has to strip all the chemicals out.

Good luck.Whats a good organic shampoo and conditioner?
the store Lush has a great line of all natural, organic hair products... basically everything sold there will be good for your hair. No chemical buildup because everything is handmade from natural ingredients. Most of the stuff is so fresh and natural it even has expiration dates, you don't see that in store brands! Go check it out online or if theres a store near you
MAYO NISSE! It's only like $3 a bottle. I heard it makes your hair soft and shiny. Dunno anything natural that meets your criteria, but if you want to use un-natural stuff use Herbal Essences

Biolage is AMAZING for damaged hair, but like I've said before, it's a bit pricey. Absolutely worth the money though because it hydrates fabulously. Otherwise, I'd recommend Garnier Fructisse. Find your system, and before you know, gorgeous hair will be yours!Whta is the best shampoo and conditioner for daily use?
Paul mitchell is pretty much a stupid brand name shampoo.. I started using head and shoulders.. and that's the best.. but then again I started using baby shamppoo.. I think baby shampoo is the best because it's gentle and it's for baby's. Shampoo really matters and Isuggest you use baby shampoo

    hope I helped!!!!
trisseme...pantene is the worst shampoo for anyone's hair...too much wax
Well I like these for my hair it works really good.

herbal Essence then new kind it smells good and they got it for different tips of hair even to help straighten hair if thats what you like.

If you get a haircut and a stylist suggests you use a certain product, they are trying to make you spend more money, but I listened to my stylist when I was having breakage problems and I am happy I did! I use the Redken Extreme products. They are specifically designed for damaged hair and it works wonders! It is pricier than the Pantene you are using, but you won't regret it! I used to use Pantene, then I tried the Redken Extreme...now I'll never turn back! Halo products are also great for damaged hair! That is more expensive than Redken, but it鈥檚 amazing what it can do! Good luck!
    *sigh* just get some Dove.
tresemme anti brakage love it i use tresemme's moisture rich you can find it at target and walmars i got mine from waslgreens i was going to get anti brakge but my stylist said i didnt need that so i just rmoisture rich
I swear by Alberto VO5 products, and they are so cheap. The best for my hair are Tangerine Tickle, but it's becoming harder to find. The regular products are fine, but I would stay away from the milky kind. I like to switch shampoos every few days or so between that and the Garnier Fructis.

Oh gosh.. lolz. Well don't use Pantene because it's bad for your hair, uhm Herbal Essences smells good but I heard some bad things abuot it. Possibly Garnier Fructis may work it smells good and makes your hair soft and attractive. And also Dove is good too. So yeah, Garnier Fructis or Dove is good.
I have curly hair and i love l'oeal elvive. The orange one is good for frizzy hair, but i also like the red one for colored hair, and the pink one is the best one yet. The conditioner is very good quality for curly wavy hair.
My hair sounds similar to yours and i always use loreal elvive nutri gloss (the pink one) and its great it leaves my hair soft and shiny and also easy to manage.
Jessicurl Hair Cleansing Cream and Jessicurl Too Shea! Extra Moisturizing Conditioner if you have wavy and/or culy hair.

I have really thin, dry, straight hair and I would like some advice to get more volume and less dryness.Best shampoo and conditioner or mask?
If you want cheap looking hair, but cheap stuff at Walgreen's. But if your looking for a improvement go to a salon that carries Davines, Bumble%26amp;Bumble, or Kuene. They work 100% of the time I have used them. You need a good conditioner, something that wont weight your hair down. And you need to repair your damaged hair. So I would go to a salon that carrys Davines... go to Davines.com and locate closest salon...They have many conditioner treatments, and awesome products... I would try out LOVE shampoo/conditioner.Best shampoo and conditioner or mask?
Paul Mitchell. =) I love it and it works great!
The Aquage Volume shampoo and conditioner is expensive, but the only thing i have found that acutally works for me. You should try it! i love it.
If you are looking for inexpensive, Suave's Humectant Shampoo is great. Unfortunately, I swear by Pantene's Moisture Renewal Conditioner. Pantene's Moisture Rich Shampoo is good also...which is just a little more expensive. (Still under $6.00)Good Luck!
I have really thin hair. I use Pantene thick and full shampoo and conditioner. If you don't want to spend that much money... You can use any shampoo and just use the Pantene conditioner. ; )
    shampoo: pantene pro-v

conditioner- fructis (i love it it's the best to add volume to your hair)

Can you put lemon juice in your shampoo and conditioner bottles?

and leave that in your hair or will it not work because it will just wash out when you take the shampoo or conditioner out of your hairCan you put lemon juice in your shampoo and conditioner bottles?
when i was younger i used lemon juice and it dried my hair out pretty bad....the best way i found is mix some conditioner, peroxide and water in a spray bottle and use it as a leave in it gives a better color result and doesn't give you any orange tones, and doesn't over lighten your hair. Can you put lemon juice in your shampoo and conditioner bottles?
If your going to use it I suggest putting some lemon juice in a small bottle and refrigerate it before and after your shower and mix it into the shampoo and conditioner in your palm before use because lemon juice may make your shampoo and conditioner spoil like food spoils I let water with lemon juice in it sit out and it grew mold but if you put it in your hair it will dry and prevent molding.
I did this last year because I wanted to make my semi blonde hair blonder. (because lemon juice is a bleach and will make things go lighter). But once you put lemon juice in your hair it will always be there and your hair will keep getting lighter and lighter until it gets white blonde. Unless you die it or let it grow out it, it will disappear. It worked, it made my hair much blonder but I regreted it because I got bad regrowth and had to die my hair for the first time which I really didn't want to do but I also ddidn'twant bad regrowth so I had to.
dont mix it with your shampoo and conditioner. all you need to do, is juice a few lemons, minus the pips, shampoo your hair like usual, rinse, then put the lemon juice thru your hair, mainly on your scalp, not really the ends of your hair.... leave it for only a minute, and rinse out, then use a moisture rich conditioner afterwards.

Citrus is extremely good to get rid of product build up in your hair. if your using alot of product, its great to use lemon like this occasionally because it works even better than shampoo if your hair is feeling heavy or flat. I only need to use it about once every 3 months-ish. But it does make ur hair a little dry, so thats why you need to use a really good moisture rich conditioner straight after to restore your hair a bit.

as far as using it to lighten your hair goes, its not a good idea. it doesnt work unless you do it over and over and over again. it gets messy, sticky and drys your hair out. your better off getting a spray on leave in conditioner that contains citrus extracts. it helps keep blondes bright without drying you out.

the best thing for colour correction if your blond went a bit orange or something, is simply, a DIY toner. Either buy a bottle of it and do it at home every 3 weeks or so after your hair was coloured, to keep up the colour from turning brassy, or use a shampoo and conditioner that has a toner base in it. it will be purple.
i used to put lemon juice in my hair to lighten it after it went green from chlorine in swimming pools.

but you just sortof splash it in and then leave it for a while and then wash it out.

ive also tried tomato sauce. **** that was unpleasant.

but anyway. ive never died my hair and i dont have regrowth. it just went back to natural.
Its extremely bad for your hair. It lightens your hair because it removes the protective layer of your hair over your cuticle. Your hair will become very weak and unhealthy if you do this, so i warn you not to..
I used to use lemon juice on my face when i would get pimples and it would dry it out real fast, i don't believe that would be very healthy for your hair. Probably dry it out real bad
Sure. You can put anything in shampoo and condiditoner. But it'll probly wash out.
YES, BUT DON'T TRY TO REUSE IT IN YOUR TEA.

How many times should I apply shampoo and conditioner in a week, please recommend some good shampoo?

My hair is not that soft...it gets entangled after I get up from sleep..How many times should I apply shampoo and conditioner in a week, please recommend some good shampoo?
Dear Shariff it is advisable to use mild shampoo thrice a week and condition ur hair at least once a week. from my personal experience i would recommend u to use Dove shampoo . but u say that ur hair is not that soft and they tangle up the main reason is u r not oiling ur hair before shampoo , if you treat ur hair with warm oiling before shampoo this problem will definitely be solved I'm pretty sure. How many times should I apply shampoo and conditioner in a week, please recommend some good shampoo?
You should use conditioner every time you shampoo, unless you shampoo every day, then - I'd say every other day. Some good brands are Vive Pro, Garnier Fructis, And Tresemme. Their products are really great and safe for everyday use. I have personal expericence using all their products and my hair is very soft and silky. If you have rough hair, you could also try using a deep conditioner once a week.
I use this product everyday, paired with any shampoo..I dunno if you're from the philippines, I am, but, it has been a perrenial problem to me too..Not until, I discovered Hortaleza Professional (HP) virgin coconut oil conditioner, shampoo are also available too.Its Really REALLY good!....and is cheap for less than 4$USD per 1000ml..(i might sounded like that of the commercials, they could have paid me for this advertisement, LOL!) but, im just tryin to help by sharing it with you...

oh, by the way, it also treated dandruff and scalp itchiness, according to my friend who'd tried it too...
twice a weekis optimun..as u said abt ur hair...it seems ur hair is dry...so twice is enuf...

mine is dry too and i use himalayas shampoo n conditioner for dry/damaged hair..n believe me..it solves the problem...

I sometimes wonder like how they do the product...

but anyways...different people have dffrnt points..n diff reactions...i think u have to try it urself...to make any conclusions..

    gud luck,,:)
Depends on your hair. I have to wash my hair every day (super fine hair) and use Herbal Essence (I LOVE it!). I have a friend that can only wash her hair every 2-3 days or it gets too dry. Talk to a salon and get advice.
FIRST APPLY COCONUT OIL 1HR BEFORE U WASH UR HAIR.U CAN USE SHAMPOO THRICE IN A WEEK SPECIALLY IN SUMMER.AFTER THAT USE CONDITIONER.TRY TO USE GARNIER'S SHAMPOO ND CONDITIONER .ONCE IN A MONTH U CAN APPLY EGG ON UR HAIR OR AMLA.ITS GOOD FOR HAIR
condituoner only once a week, and shampoo thrice a week. Apply warm hair oil (any) at least twice a week.
use shampoo and conditioner every day and fructise and pantene are thee best!
i fu want to take care of your hair avoid use of shampoo or conditioners which has chemicals causing harm to the hair in the long run..take oil bath weekly once using soap nut
use DOVE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER..........its the best twice a week.........the white color bottle of the products will do for u
Depends on if you work in a dirty job or stay at home!

Once a week is normal a conditioner!
Use a good soap with moisturser.
    Twice a week is OK
my hair same like yours.. my hairdresser recommend twice a week... it help... now i have healthier looking hair...
dove daily moisture treatment for rough/dry hair is AMAZING.

its made my rough, nasty hair silky and shiny!

Pureology is a far superior product to Paul Mitchell. It's sulfate free and is amazing at retaining haircolor. Not even a fair comparison in my opinion.

Is it wrong to sleep with strangers for shampoo & conditioner coupons from Target?

It's perfectly all right, I used to do it all the time myself, before I found out that I could find coupons in my local Sunday paper. Is it wrong to sleep with strangers for shampoo %26amp; conditioner coupons from Target?
    depends on your morals

    for me yes

for you, paying ridiculously high prices on shampoo and conditioner could be more of a crime than sleeping with a stranger, so i guess i can see your side in this

still my morals would prevent me from doing that, but i wont judge you if you do :)Is it wrong to sleep with strangers for shampoo %26amp; conditioner coupons from Target?
Terribly amoral in my opinion, however, the answer depends on your personal values. Plus, methinks you're knowing the answer missus.
come to my house I've got lots of shampoo and conditioner you can have and use, you can also use my shower! ;)
as long as they are name brand shampoos and conditioners, it is just fine.
It'll take a lot more then shampoo %26amp; conditioner to clean up whatever disease you might get.
About as wrong as posting questions about it for attention.
Maybe you should consider ones who have coupons at Barney's or Macy's lol. That, I will do. Buy your target shampoo for full price and look pretty to score Barney's dude
YES! Nobody shops at Target anymore.
Your questions are getting very old.
Are they good coupons? The answer depends on whether they are high value.
you got the coupons didn't you.

BTW you left your brush here
No, whatever it takes. Hair is important.

Color protecting shampoo/conditioner/spray for purple hair?

Hey, I recently dyed my hair dark purple with demi-permanent dye from hottopic... I went to the pool a few days after and after a few hours you couldn't even see the purple anymore. They had just added chlorine to the pool too. I wanted to find some kind of shampoo or anything I can put in my hair to make it last longer, that's not too expensive.

Thanks.Color protecting shampoo/conditioner/spray for purple hair?
I would suggest using Aveeda Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner.Color protecting shampoo/conditioner/spray for purple hair?
Well you obviously know that the chlorine screwed up your hair. You're probably going to have to dye your hair again. Just go out to the drugstore and read labels for color protecting shampoo/conditioner. I'm assuming you used Manic Panic or something like that, and that dye fades fairly fast, so there's not much that a shampoo/conditioner can do.
well really you'll find all the best stuff at the salon but it is expensive. i don't think you can really get good quality for a low price.

bed head has some stuff you might want to check out. they do lots of stuff for coloured hair.

    good luck :)

Confused with a different shampoo with another brand of conditioner?

I know my question sounds weird. I just finished my herbal essences shampoo and I have a lot of conditioner. I am using this natural product that belongs to my mom. Is it a bad idea to use my herbal essences for a conditioner?Confused with a different shampoo with another brand of conditioner?
I don't think so. I use Motions Shampoo with a deep conditioner Hair Mayo that isn't the same brand. If you get good results with the combinaton you're using then go for it!Confused with a different shampoo with another brand of conditioner?
If you are thinking of using the conditioner in place of the shampoo, the answer is no. It will make your hair heavy and greasy. If you are asking of its okay to switch out a natural conditioner for the herbal essences kind, the answer is yes, although chemicals might make your hair behave the way you want it to, they are more harsh.

Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?

Its looks like a nice product, but I want to be sure...Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?
What is it? There is a shampoo and conditioner that is right for everyone, and BedHead makes a lot of different products. I personally use Catwalk shampoo (made by TIGI who also makes BedHead) and BedHead Dumb Blonde Reconstructor. Actually all BedHead products are amazing, I trust them more than I trust any other brand. Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are cheap for a reason. They are full of harsh chemicals that strip color and natural oils from your hair and cause damage. They are also full of wax the coats the outside of the hair shaft. BedHead uses quality products that are good for you hair, and the conditioner actually repairs and protects hair, unlike drugstore junk. So yes, it is worth it, as long as you are picking the right shampoo and conditioner for your needs! Is Bedhead shampoo/conditioner worth the shiny price tag?
I don't think so, I think there are others out there that do great for your hair without the heavy price tag. I highly recommend using Dove's Go Fresh shampoo and conditioner. It works great. it helps treat and prevent breakage and moisturizes your hair without weighing it down. It's also friendly to the wallet. So nix the expense and use Dove to get healthy hair. Go to their website for coupons.
your really only going to kno if you try it. ive bought expensive hair stuff that i totally hate for my hair. i give it to a friend and there hair comes out great. drives me nuts! peoples hair works with different stuff. so id say give it a go or else youll never kno. i personally have not been a fan of bed head shampoo and conditioners they dont really seem to improve my hair in anyway.
    i wouldnt.

you can find just about the same thing for less than half the cost.

  • Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

I have about shoulder length VERY curly, dry, frizzy hair. I have tried dozens of different products on my hair, but nothing really seems to help the dryness. I have been using Pantene for the past few months but I really don't see any difference in my hair. Not washing my hair everyday isn't really an option because it is frizzy and messy when I wake up. Are there any shampoos or conditioners that have really improved your hair? I have heard good things about Garnier Fructis but is it really that great? Also, I would prefer that the products be available at any drugstore. Please help.

Thanks. :]Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?
There is a product by Infusium 23 called (moistur)ologie. It has a shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in treatment. It hydrates deeply to replenish the moisture to dry, parched hair. They also have a (repair)ologie line, which fortifies the hair cuticle to stop breakage and split ends. You could just use the (moistur)ologie, or you could mix a (repair)ologie shampoo with a (moistur)ologie conditioner.

I actually use a Pantene Pro-V shampoo for my hair along with the (moistur)ologie conditioner. Despite what everyone else says about how bad Pantene is, I love it. It gets my hair clean, and leaves it feeling soft and looking very healthy and shiny. Plus, the (moistur)ologie conditioner makes it even softer, and I've noticed way less frizz and breakage in my hair.

You can buy the Infusium 23 products at Walmart for about $5 each. Hope this helps! :]Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?
There are a lot of silicones out there that promise to treat frizziness (Biosilk, John Frieda), but look at their ingredients. They all contain stuff like alcohol or water that get in the way of the silicone. Try a pure silicone like Simply Stylin. It has no fillers so it's effects are intensified. I like the Silk serum version. Their website gives out free samples. www.simplystylinhair.com.
I tried Garnier 3 minute masque (it comes in a little pot-looking container, green with an orange lid) and it worked wonders for my hair!! You just use it about once a week and leave it in for 3 minutes (hence the name). The rest of the week I use Garnier length and strength shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps, I know how annoying frizzy hair is!!

Something else that also works well is John Freida hair serum. You just put a dime-sized amount in your hands, and rub it evenly through dry hair. It takes the frizz out. You can get it at any drugstore or WalMart sells it too. It's kind of expensive for such a small amount of product, but the bottle actually lasts a long time, even if you use it every day.
Buy Sunsilk or Garnier shampoo and conditioner and get a straightener! :D
Throw out all your Pantene products. It's horrible for your hair! It strips your hair of any natural nutriance, and coats your hair with a waxy film which will dull, dry out, and damage your hair. Any professional hair stylist will confirm this.

Garnier Fructis is pretty good, but I prefer Dove shampoo and conditioner. Aussie's 3 Minute Mircle is great also.

I use Dove Shampoo and Conditioner, and twice a week I'll substitute the conditioner with Aussie's 3 Minute Mircle. Ever since I've started this ritual my hair has been a lot less fizzy, softer, and more managable.

Use V0S hot oil treatment once a week, before you shampoo your hair. It works really well.

I also heard that it's worth investing in salon quality products like Redkin.
i would try a hot oil treatment once a week for starters, and make sure you condition every day, maybe the new pantene products, i think they are called texturize? my hair which is frizzy does well.
Stop using Pantene! It is actually proven to make your hair drier, even if it claims to be moisturizing.

I would definitely recommend Dove Sheer Moisture. I am actually in the same situation as you because I did used to use Pantene! But after receiving a free sample of this I tried it and it works like magic and I am not kidding! Anyway it is a great cure for both dry hair and frizzy hair. My hair is always messy when I wake up but from the same line of product, I use Dove Replenishing Mist it is the best and it can be applied to dry hair too.

And please please please nominate this for best answer, I really want it! ~鈾
Yes, head n shoulders for smooth %26amp; silky hair. ^_^
Try a leave-on conditioner or when you comb out your hair after shampooing, use a quarter size dollop of conditioner and comb through, then leave it in. Try using a silk pillowcase when you sleep, it makes a BIG difference in what your hair looks like when you get up. Try using a wide tooth comb instead of a brush. Any brand of conditioner will do just about the same job. Also try to deep condition at least once a week, I usually leave mine in for 30 minutes before rinsing. Hope this is helpful.
i used to have the same thing frizz eaze by john frieda works great =)

Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner and deep conditioner?

what is the difference between conditioner and ';deep'; conditioner and how do i use after shampooing i can not use both in the same day or should i take turns on it, how should i use it!!!

well it is because i brought shampoo and coniditioner and on both of them on top was a bottle of deep coniditioner and i want to use it

any ideasGarnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner and deep conditioner?
Deep conditioners are meant to penetrate the hair and repair it or add humectants, whereas typical conditioners, the ';cream rinses'; work on the surface to smooth it and seal it.

I would suggest using deep conditoner once or twice a week.

  • Does herbal essences long term relationship shampoo and conditioner make hair grow longer?

There are no products to boost hair growth. Keeping hair healthy will prevent damage, split ends etc.Does herbal essences long term relationship shampoo and conditioner make hair grow longer?
No, it's for people who have long hair or are trying to grow their hair longer (As in, are already in the process) it's just supposed to help strengthen your hair so it CAN grow longer.Does herbal essences long term relationship shampoo and conditioner make hair grow longer?
No I use it because I have long hair and it helps maintain it but not grow longer. It does however leave your hair really soft silky and it smells great. Its great !!!!!!!
No. I don't think any shampoo can do that but check this out http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_gro鈥?/a>
It's supposed to repair and prevent split ends. If you don't have split ends, your hair grows fast. So yes.

I have really thin hair, basically the opposite of yours.

I use Herbal Essences (any kind), it really leaves your hair soft and shiny.

If this doesn't work for you and you want a better product, try Redken, and product by them is bound to do your hair some good, and the best thing about it is that it protects your hair from everyday damage- all for only about $10 a bottle.

Pantene's new collection of Volume Shampoos and Conditioners is amazing. I use that every other day (I swap between Herbal Essences and the Pantene Volume Collection). It really does give your hair volume and leaves you with hair really shiny.
well i use dove. the dark blue bottle for repairing the hair.

I dye my hair so it tends to be dry and frizzy, even though it's dry and on the thinner side. I really want to make it shiny, healthy, smooth and moisturized and it needs more volume. help me please. thank you.

a lot of conditioners weigh my hair down, but moisturize wonderfully, so it's hard to pick a good one since i want both things out of it.What shampoo/conditioner gives thin hair volume and keeps it moisturized, shiny, smooth, soft, and healthy?
