What;s the best Shampoo and Conditioner to use ?

any Brands good enough out there ?What;s the best Shampoo and Conditioner to use ?
i find that the one that works best is PANTENE.

my sister and i have experimented with different hair shampoos and conditioners and pantene is simply the BEST =]What;s the best Shampoo and Conditioner to use ?
There is no right or wrong when it comes to shampoo and conditioner it depends on your hairtype the porosity and levels of damage that you have. Salon's are a little more expensive but if you want quality you will have to pay a small price. Go into a salon that you normally visit and ask them about what shampoos and conditioners would be good for your hair. Since they are more experienced you can ask them.
depends on hair type

garnier is good for regular use though u need to use lots of conditioner

herbal essences not good for any hair type

dove is good for shine

aussie is good for frizzy hair, like mine

pantene is great for anything it conditions and gives your hair a ver nice shine i would go with pantene ice shine but the other shampoos have a nice smell pantene doesnt really have a smel i dont really know if you care

Do you need special shampoo or conditioner for bleached hair?

i got my hair bleached today well it was for highlights and it came out pretty bad. i want to change it as soon as possible but for the meantime i don't want it to get worse so how can i take care of it?

do i HAVE to use a special shampoo or conditioner?

thanks so much!!!Do you need special shampoo or conditioner for bleached hair?
You dont have to use special shampoo or conditioner but I would use some kind of conditioner or shampoo that will hydrate your hair because when you get your hair bleached, it's is bad for you hair and the hair's oils are gone. If you get hydrating hair products (especially conditioners) it will help restore your hair's oils that were taken when your hair was bleached.

Good luck%26lt;3Do you need special shampoo or conditioner for bleached hair?
Try to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner because when you bleach your hair, they strip it of all its natural oils.
You don't have to use anything. They won't get worse, unless you put more bleach on top of it.

Where can I get discontinued Body Shop products, such as the banana shampoo & conditioner, chamomile, etc.?

I already checked eBay and there is nothing for Body Shop banana shampoo %26amp; conditioner right now. Any other home for displaced beauty products that anyone is aware of?Where can I get discontinued Body Shop products, such as the banana shampoo %26amp; conditioner, chamomile, etc.?
Call the body shop customer services and they will put you in touch with one of their outlet stores. They sell all the old discontinued stuff but i think you may be hard pressed to find the banana stuff....it's a long time since it was stopped.

i have afro hair that is currently permed, i have been using ojon shampoos in the past they work really good but they are also pretty expense i recently bought lusters pink shampoo and conditioner, what do you guyz think of this product, have you ever used it and is it goodWhat do you think of lusters pink shampoo and conditioner?
I use to use it when I was younger, but it made my back and shoulders break out. It worked good on my hair thought. Everything costs so much though, so I use herbal essence hydrate me shampoo, and breaks over conditioner. Makes my hair feel real soft and silky. What do you think of lusters pink shampoo and conditioner?
    it smells good....

I have long thick hair, but it breaks so badly. What's the best shampoo and conditioner to use?

My hair breaks so badly that I don't even want to brush it. I eat healthy and trim my hair regularly, but it still breaks off whenever I brush it or wash it. What else can I do?I have long thick hair, but it breaks so badly. What's the best shampoo and conditioner to use?
Hi, I actually read these really good articles about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

http://www.carefair.com/Hair-and-Nails/S鈥?/a>I have long thick hair, but it breaks so badly. What's the best shampoo and conditioner to use?
The best shampoo to use is panteen pro-v.i have it and my hair looks and feals awsome! If that stuff deosn't work then you canask your hair dresser what to do.Sorry

    Thank you,
    Gardinier
pantene prov- relaxed and natural shampoo %26amp; conditioner for women of color...smells great and adds additional amino proteins to hair to prevent future breakage.
The best brands are always the ones sold in salons. They are more expensive but they are WAY worth it. For thick hair, it could be breaking due to lack of moisture. Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioning Balm are excellent. Redken also makes a leave in treatment called Anti-Snap that is great for damage caused by chemical services. Bedhead's Dumb Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner are great, even if you aren't blonde! For a quick at home fix, try using a little olive oil. First, when your hair is wet, cover it in olive oil. Let it process under a hot towel for 15-20 minutes. Then, shampoo twice but don't condition. Your hair will feel a bit gross, but don't worry, it will be VERY soft and much healthier after you blow dry. Your salon probably also does conditioning treatments as well. Bedhead Chocolate Head is wonderful and smells just like chocolate. Matix also makes the Proto-Pak, too. Matrix's Instacure is great for an everyday leave in treatment also.
It could be that you need like vitamins etc to help keep your hair healthy... Try the link below

Has anyone used charles worthington shampoo/conditioner before?

if so what did u think of it? i dyed my hair yesterday and bought the shampoo and conditioner that locks in color...is this stuff any good? just wondering what people thought about the products in general it doesnt have to be the same products i bought..is it really salon quality? cuz i tried the Samy stuff and it smelled like old roses (nasty old lady perfume smell) and it dried out my hair and made it gross....so much for salon quality!!Has anyone used charles worthington shampoo/conditioner before?
I bought the blonde version and to be honest I didn't think much of it! The shampoo seemed to 'strip' my hair, it went as dry as a bone! I love pantene and tresseme though because they make my hair feel lush :)Has anyone used charles worthington shampoo/conditioner before?
    hi, iv recently stopped using aus hair care products ,as i was getting build up on my hair, i changed it to charels worthington london, which i found good ,never the less have since reverted back to aus, (use charles worthington 1 week) and aus the next , %26lt;works well %26gt;

What is a good brand of conditioner and shampoo?

Herbal Essences it's great and so is John Frieda as long as you don't have black hair they don't make it for black hair.

theres all that I can think of so I hope I helped! What is a good brand of conditioner and shampoo?
DoveWhat is a good brand of conditioner and shampoo?
    Herbal Essences

it smells good and it makes your hair shiney!!
Pantene Pro-V, it's amazing! I tried it and it made my hair shine!
    I like Pantene PRo V
Pantene has a new line called Restoratives, it is the only thing that has made a difference in my hair , and I used to hate Pantene...but my hair is thick coarse and curly/wavy...if yours is thin or limp it may be to heavy...Good luck
My friend is a hair stylist and when she was in school for cosmetology they told her that Pantene ProV is the WORST....they did this test on everyone's hair and people who used pantene had all this nasy buildup. I second the PUREOLOGY. It is amazing, especially for color treated. I have thick, sometimes frizzy hair and this is the best by far. THe purple kind has pepperment in it and it makes your whole scalp tingle. I love it.
    L'Oreal Vive Pro and Pantene
I love Pureology. They have different kinds for different types of hair, but their whole line is specially made for color treated hair.
    Tresemme
The new Herbal Essenes%26lt;Don't know how to spell. What ever fits your hair. I have to use No more Frizzienes!
Garnier Fructis is great for all hair types.
I love Arbonne's shampoo and conditioner.

    Arbonne Intelligence Daily, Self-Adjusting Shampoo

Enhance hair鈥檚 shine and manageability with this light, super-hydrating shampoo that adjusts to the daily, changing needs of all hair types.

Arbonne Intelligence Daily, Self-Adjusting Shampoo with Tea Tree Oil

The natural choice for combating a dry, flaky scalp, this super-charged blend works to help hair shine while eliminating annoying, dry scalp.

    Arbonne Intelligence Daily, Self-Adjusting Conditioner

Condition hair daily with this light, ultra-beneficial conditioning formula that gets to the root of dryness to condition both hair and scalp for beautiful, healthy results.
Everyone can tell you a different brand of shampoo and/or conditioner to use but it all depends on your hair and what you are looking for. There is a new brand out called Sun Silk that fits many people's needs. If you have frizzy hair, they have a shampoo that can fix that, if you have flat hair (like me) they have one to fix it...you get the point.

My point is depending on your needs go with a brand that focuses on your hair type. I like Herbal Essence and Sun Silk. If you go to a BJ's or a Sam's Club (wholesale stores) you can buy a big bottle for cheaper prices. If you do not have a membership and you go to school, you can give them your I.D. and they will rent you a store savings card.

    Good Luck!

What shampoo and conditioner do you use?

how is your hair and how long do you keep the conditioner on?What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
    Aussie moist!

my hair goes down to the middle of my back %26amp; I leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutesWhat shampoo and conditioner do you use?
My hair is really long, thick and wavy. Its also in very good condition.

I alternate my hair products. I use the original Pink Herbal Essences for one month (i've been told that the same original formula is the Color Me Happy just in different packaging.)

The next month I use Dove Moisture Therapy just so I change it up a bit so my hair doesnt become accustomed to the products.

My shower routine is lather, rinse and then lather again, it really does make a difference. Rinse that out and apply conditioner only to the bottom 1/3 of your hair-keep away from roots!

I then use a wide tooth plastic comb which I keep in the shower and comb through the length of my hair which keep the tangles away AND help to seal up the cuticules so you have shiny hair.

I leave my conditioner sit on my hair for about 2 minutes-basically time enough to shave my legs. I rinse it out and then finish my shower. Right before I get out I do an ice cold rinse on my hair to really get it shiny.

As a side note: My hair stylist has always told me to stay away from Garnier and Pantene hair products. She says the damage overtime from those two lines is unbelieveable.

Another tip is to not condition your hair everytime you wash it because a conditioner basically strips the top layer of your strands and thats the way it works so it basically thins your hair slowly.

    Hope I helped!
I use neutrogena shampoos, or garnier fructis shampoo.. or jason natural shampoo

conditioner I use the ones that come with hair color boxes cuz I always have too many of those around.. I like also dove conditioner moisturizing.

I leave it on 20 minutes.

but the best conditioner ive ever used that I used for two years straight was redken all soft heavy cream.... but I may have developed an allergy to it not sure... since I developed an UNKNOWN allergy at that time I simply stopped using EVERYTHING I was using at that time. without ever knowing what caused it.. so I miss it :(
    mine is slightly damaged,

    but i use

ORGANIX nourishing coconut milk shampoo %26amp;%26amp; conditioner or

ORGANIX hydrating teetrea shamptoo and conditioner

    http://www.organixhair.com
my hair is wavy and curly. i keep on the conditioner for about 10 seconds.

    shampoo: sunsilk

    conditioner: suave
i use white rain apple blossom shampoo.
my hair goes to the small of my back. I use Aussie Moist.

What is a good shampoo an conditioner for breakage?

what is good shampoos and conditioners for breakage and when you hair is breaking off what are good treatments(no food items) and no herbal essences pantiene or dove there not good for your hairWhat is a good shampoo an conditioner for breakage?
any conditioner with moisture in it will be good for your hair..depending on how much you want to spend.

if you have a Sally's beauty supply near your house, there is a shampoo and conditioner called Bioterra, and there is a kind with moisture in it..it's not expensive maybe like $7 a bottle.

or if you're willing to spend more money,

BedHead has a shampoo and conditioner called Moisture Maniac. it works really well.

Matrix and Redken has really good shampoo and conditioner too.

other than that, use alot of deep conditioners on your hair.

when you take a shower, put some conditioner on your hair while its dry before you wash it, and leave it on for 10 minutes..dry hair soaks up more moisture than wet hair does.

    Use leave in conditioners also

or if you straighten your hair, use some heat protectors, and turn your heat on your flat iron down. What is a good shampoo an conditioner for breakage?
any intensive conditioners or james brown is really good

you could even try mixing up your own hair products using natural ingredients like yoghurt
Try using the K-Pak line by Joico. It's great stuff!
pantane. they have some shampoo that helps renew your hair. they sell it anyway like at a drug store, a super market, etc. (: hope i helped

  • Hey is Dove Cool Moisture shampoo & conditioner good?

i want my hair to be soft and smooth. i usually straighten it and don't have a problem so i just want a shampoo and conditioner for soft, smooth, and shiny hair. is this a good choice? are any of the other dove products better?Hey is Dove Cool Moisture shampoo %26amp; conditioner good?
    Hello!

Well, I had a terrible hair catastrophe when I used Dove because maybe it didnt suit my hair but what it did to me was it totally dried it out and make it difficult to comb and tangled so I was really upset. One of the best hair care shampoo I use is Pantene Silky Straight. It's green labelled. There are the shampoo, conditioner, treatment mask to tame flyaways and the serum to lock in moisture. I suggest you try this because your straight locks will look sleek and beautiful!

We can use both shampoo and conditioner daily?

I just need to clearfy that, using both shapmoo and hair conditioner daily will not effect your hair. Like hair loss or hair vanishing... Using both shapmoo and hair conditioner together on daily bases will not harm your hairs...??? By the way i'm using products of ';GARNIER';We can use both shampoo and conditioner daily?
yes! you can!We can use both shampoo and conditioner daily?
You're not going to believe this but I read somewhere that we shouldn't wash our hair with shampoo more than twice a week! I asked my hairdresser about it and two of them said that that was correct. But they said that just getting it thoroughly wet on the other days is sufficient to keep hair looking and feeling clean.

Using conditioner every time you shampoo isn't going to hurt your hair even if you continue to wash it daily.

If you see a hairdresser ask about what I said. It would be interesting for you to see what kind of answer you'll get.
mom used to be a hairdresser, and she said, to shampoo every day if you take a shower, but not if you don't have too. do NOT conditon you're hair everyday, it will look very grasy after a week of washing!
No way, so many people use shampoo and conditioner. I prefer not to use 2 in 1 because separate shampoos and conditioners make my hair so much softer, and they shouldn't cause your hair to fall out.
i have allways shampooed and conditioned my hair

    every night before bed!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for coarse hair that has breakage?

I have very coarse hair.. I use mayonaise.. Not the kind you eat, it's for your hair,I get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Hair mayonaise or humectressWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for coarse hair that has breakage?
TRY JOICO K-PAK SHAMPOO AND RECONSTRUCTING TREATMENT IT WILL REPAIR YOUR HAIR AND MAKE IT FEEL LIKE SILKWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner for coarse hair that has breakage?
    TresEmme is quite good.
i personally like the KeraCare Hydrating Detangling shampoo and Humecto Creme conditioner, but everyone is different. if your hair has breakage, you should probably try a protein conditioner in addition to a moisturizing one. a lot of people like Aphogee (the one that gets hard), but i don't think you need to traumatize the hair to help build it up. Aubrey GPB is a gentle protein conditioner that works great!

contact me if you have more questions or need to know where to get these products. :-)
Either Creme of Nature or Mane 'N Tail.
humm i have realxed hair and it was dry so i use tresemme moisture rich and it's really helpd my hair and waht you would be looking for is shampoo and conditioner that's gives mositure like

    tresemme moisrture rich

    sunilk pink tlc

    aussie moist

    redken smooth down

    redken all soft

these are all very good check em out
get a good leave on conditioner for dry hair, i know people who use leave on conditioners for colored hair because their hair breaks and needs more care althought they haven't dyed their hair. you should also eat healthy food rich in greens , protein and iron as well as drink plenty of water because the hair is effected by what you eat more than what you apply to your hair and you have to wait for results.

you can use a hair mask or apply oil to your hair before taking a shower then wear a shower cap , the heat will do the work, then before you finish wash your hair with shampoo. after the shower apply the leave on conditioner.

remember that the only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off, then take good care of your hair .
    i use john frieda stuff

that always works for me =]

i also sometimes use bed head
    Joico K-Pak

Selsun Blue! Most definitely! It will moisturize both the scalp and the roots of the hair so that they will not be so dry and itchy. They also have a conditioner which works just as well!

Do i need the shampoo for this conditioner to work?

herbal essences none of your frizziness

i got the conditioner, didnt work.

if i get the shampoo that goes with it, will it work?Do i need the shampoo for this conditioner to work?
    nop

cuz it didnt work 4 my hair

try infusium, or garnier fructis or biolageDo i need the shampoo for this conditioner to work?
I doubt it, it usually only says 'use this particular shampoo and conditioner for best effects' because the company wants to make more money. Herbal Essences is also tested on animals (because Clairol which owns it, is ultimately owned by Procter and Gamble which has a long history of testing on animals).

If you use 'smoothing serum' (there's many good ones - charles worthington, Tresemme, etc) they generally tame the frizz. They worked for me anyway.
OMG , ok so like i got Herbal Essences, Totally twisted conditioner...and yeah, that's what i thought , i was all like, what a waste if i gotta buy the shampoo too... But then, i kept using it, and after like 2 or 3 weeks, OMG my hair is nice and ';twisted';, so waht i'm trying to say is that that will probably happen to ur hair too, except with that type of conditioner. :D
no it doesnt matter , you ont need a shampoo for a conditioner to work or vice versa, amybe its just not for your hair , try a different conditioner :)
I doubt it- but maybe you didn't give it enough time to see if it would work???

Just start washing your hair with shampoo. Conditioner is not good forever ones hair. Especially people who's hair gets oily quick.
My hair is the same way don't use conditioner for a while[or put a little on the ends . My hair specialist recommended Garnier Fructus or Head and Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo.....DO NOT use Herbal Essense it makes your hair VERY oily
    dandruff shampoo
Garnier Fructis or Head %26amp; Shoulders... the only ones i can vouch for... i hope it helps
    Pert Plus
Try the acai herbel essences shampoo. It works great it's 2 in 1. My hairs the same way. It works wonders! Good luck I hope I helped!
Lik every girl in the world use head and sholders....FOr every type of hair!
It's better to use a separate shampoo and conditioner, use a shampoo for oliy hair and only put conditioner on the mids to ends.
If you have thin hair that normally gets oily, then I wouldn't use a conditioner at all. The conditioner will just flatten your hair more giving it an even less full look. Use a volumizing shampoo only like Pantine's volumizing shampoo, and stay away from conditioners.
Try sumthing which adds volume like sunsilk shampoos , and for oily hair try head and shoulders .
well, ive always loved pantene its really good. but i would have to say that 2 in 1s are deffinetely not the way to go. you should use pantene shampoo in conditioner. it may take more time (like 2 more minutes then using 2 in one) but the results are SO much better.

    hope i helped,

I tried everything so don't waste your money none of it works. The best hair serum is still John freida. That is the best thing to keep humidity from frizzing out your hair (after straightening) and makes hair shiny w/o being greasy. Don't straighten everyday or you will have major breakage. I hate the time this takes every week I wish someone would invent something that actually worked!

TIGI S Factor Shampoo and Conditioner question?

Are these concentrated so that I don't need to use as much as I would from say my old brand of Redken?TIGI S Factor Shampoo and Conditioner question?
It's concentrated about the same amount as Redken. With either you don't have to use very much. Just mix it with water in your hair and build up a good lather. If it doesn't foam, it's ok. It's still working. Just make sure you scrub it good and get everywhere.

Why do we have shampoo and conditioner not just shampoo or conditioner?

Like why can't Hrbal Ecesences be like pert?? Like shampoo and conditioner 2getherWhy do we have shampoo and conditioner not just shampoo or conditioner?
because the conditioner in the 2 in one bottles like pert doesnt really condition your hair very much... or just to get more money for their products. Why do we have shampoo and conditioner not just shampoo or conditioner?
shampoo is only made to clean hair.Conditioner is used to make your hair silky and soft.IF u use them together the result is not going to work well
are you living under a rock ?

    every line has one
too much of 1 thing isnt good. a shampoo has a diffrent ingredients then a conditoner. that 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner do not work its a waste of money
those 2 in 1's never work for me -- i can't even tell there is conditioner in it at all....

ps -- you can make you own -- mix the bottles half and half!
there r shampoos that have both together, but i find that they dont work well on my hair. i like using 2 seperate ones.
because most 2in1's don't work very well.
because they do two different things and shampooing while you condition defeats the purpose. Don't ask stupid questions. And don't tell me your that lazy you cant shampoo then condition
if u do conditioner first then it will only be soft
They used to have one that was together. But for my hair if i just shampoo it, it is really dry. If i just condition it, it is greasy.
shampoo is to clean the hair and conditioner is to condition the hair...some people dont need the conditioner if there hair is short. very short like a guys brush cut
They do make a shampoo conditioner. Shampoo cleans and conditioner: Softens
shampoo is like body wash and conditioner is like lotion, they do have a 2 in 1 shampoo, it's not the best though
shampoo cleans your hair, while conditioner softens it and smoothes it.... so u need them both
Because they are two different things!!Shampoo is to actually clean your hair and conditioner is kinda a softener and thing for having knot-free hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What Shampoo/Conditioner Should I Get?

I'm going to Target tomorrow so...

I have shoulder length, brown, thin/fine hair. My hair is damaged from straightening and blowdrying. I would also like to know what products I should get if you have any advice on that.

My budget is about $30 max for all the shampoo/conditoner/products so we should be fine on price lol. What Shampoo/Conditioner Should I Get?
get a moisturizing kind or a kind for dry/damaged hair. I use humectant from suave and it works pretty well.

but different shampoos work for different people

so you could try some different kinds

I personally don't think pantene is much better than the cheaper products (shampoo/conditioner wise, idk about the styling products and stuff though)What Shampoo/Conditioner Should I Get?
herbal essences or aussie r the best at that!!

and they r WAY cheaper than 30 bucks. the r like 4 dollars.

i use herbal essences dangerously straight

How do you get the knots out of a pom pups coat, have tried shampoo, conditioner, flea comb, brush.didn't help

my pom puppy has knots in her hair..that seemed to have appeared over night. I can't get them out, with shampoo, conditioner and brushing with brush or using a flea comb..and she is so active.. she tries to help. How do you get the knots out of a pom pups coat, have tried shampoo, conditioner, flea comb, brush.didn't help
get an undercoat rake. It's a special brush that actually looks like a small rake. I have a pappillion %26amp; a border collie, both who get the knotting that your talking about. If you use it on dry hair twice weekly it will keep them out.How do you get the knots out of a pom pups coat, have tried shampoo, conditioner, flea comb, brush.didn't help
    Yeah right...';overnight';-heard *that* one before-HA!

To start=It's MATT! Your dog is MATTED!!

*YOU*have to groom Poms EVERY DAY!!Throughly,ALL OVER,making SURE you get all the way to the skin.

. *YOU* have to TEACH it to accept,if not enjoy, this. Put it across your lap %26amp; start at the head %26amp; DO IT! When one side is done, turn it over %26amp; repeat. BELLY,TOO! Use a steel comb %26amp; a then a pin-brush.

NEVER wash before your dog is COMPLETELY combed out. Washing only makes matts WORSE!

DO NOT WASH too often!! A couple/three times a YEAR is enough!

PS: You DIDN'Tget the dog from a reputable breeder,DID YOU??? Such wouldn't have let you out the door w/out the correct tools %26amp; a lesson!
There are several good commercial products available... check out any site for folks who show dogs.

However, for a low cost solution to matting (knots), try mayonaise
    wow. that's a tough one...

i have seen people deal with puppy knots by cutting or shaving them off.

you could visit a professional dog groomer and let them do it and have them tell you what they did... then for next time you would have the right comb and conditioner.

skip the shampoo... it makes the hair squeaky clean by removing the oils and the knots will be stronger after. use lots of conditioner, work it in and try quick short comb strokes at the top of the knot closer to her body and work it through to the end.

good luck, its nice to see how much you love your dog~!
try a mitty matty breaker you can get them at most pet shops.
    Have a look here.
try a doggie detangler spray, it works, but it will take a while and lots of patience. good luck
You are supposed to brush poms every day but, since that is almost impossible, they will always get knots!

Mine sure does. He thinks brushing is an opportunity to play and bite at my fingers!

We have had very little luck combing out the knots. The best thing to do is cut them out. Clear as much hair out as possible and cut out the knot. They have so much hair, you don't notice.

I keep my poms hair cut like a lion in the summer, with his mane full and long and the rest cut short, which helps some.

    What is the best shampoo&conditioner???

My hair is very hard to fix because it is thick and long.My hair is dried out and my ends are split..i don't want to cut it because i love long hair.I want a shampoo%26amp;conditioner that is for dry hair and long thick hair. When i get my hair wet or when i wake up in the morning my hair is frizzy..just to put it this way..it is always frizzy.I also use a flat iron on my hair and i want a shampoo%26amp;conditioner that treats hair used with thermal heat!!!What should i DO???What is the best shampoo%26amp;conditioner???
    okay...a couple of answers.

So Sexy (moisturizing) by Victoria's Secret is a fantastic shampoo. It smells really good and your hair is noticeably shinier and softer after just one use. Its a little expensive, though...not too bad, but worth every penny....

another option: if you put olive oil in your hair a few minutes before you get in the shower, it will smooth out the overall texture of your hair and make it shinier and softer as well.

last but not least, my cousin started using a shampoo called ';mane and tail'; to help with her really dry hair, and it worked! it made her hair super shiny and soft and healthy. It is sold wherever you normally buy shampoo, but it was originally formulated for horses....i know, weird...but it works!

good luck! :o)What is the best shampoo%26amp;conditioner???
you should use that tresamay stuff its really good i use it but you should cut off the split ends it will grow back fast
MIZANI THERMAL SMOOTH COLLECTION! its for you all the way! but u have to order it online. search for websites that sell it for less! take a look at the collection
Theramacare is a pretty decent product for the money, that is heat activated. I prefer Pantene Pro-V, though. You may want to get your ends trimmed a little at a time, so that your hair isn't as frizzy, have a friend, or go to a salon and do it. The stylists there may also be able to help you decide on some products to tame the frizz.
i think that if you get a hair trim not a cut it can get the spilt ends gone %26amp; you can start fresh. then id use tressame hair shampoo %26amp; condioner ( the mositureone) it works good %26amp; before flat ironing your hair buy a heat protectant spray, you can buy some a hair salon for about $10 %26amp; the bottles last a long time
i recommend trying Bumble and bumble hair products.

    www.bumbleandbumble.com

for frizzy hair thats being constanly straightened..the best shampoo + conditioner set is the Damage Therapy line. Just go to 'products' then to 'Bb. Treatment' %26amp; click on 'damage therapy'.

Go to store locator to find a salon near you..if there aren't any..many salons carry and sell their line of products. it's all a bit pricey but totally worth it =) good luck.
my hair is thick to. i just got it cut a couple weeks ago, but it was really long before i did. to get rid of the split ends get like 3 inches cut off, thats what i did. you can try head and shoulders, but they dont have one for thermal heat. if you want one with thermal heat protectors, try treseme or thermesilk. also try sunsilk anti-frizz. it comes in shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner.
no matter how much you like your long hair, split ends are not repairable no matter what the product promises. the only way is to trim the dead ends off. also using a flat iron everyday isnt doing you any good. i suggest using DOVE INTENSE shampoo and conditioner, also when your hair is wet apply Bio Silk

    http://www.beautysupplycenter.com/hair-c鈥?/a>

and blow out ur hair in a medium heat with a flat clamp brush.

    hope this helps. :)
aussie moist shampoo %26amp; conditioner wrks good. So does Herbal Essences hello hydration shampoo %26amp; conditioner. Since you flat iron your hair I suggest using Herbal Essences hello hydration shampoo %26amp; Herbal Essences danderously straight conditioner. They're dangerously straight conditioner helps straighten your hair without a flat iron.

    I hope this helps!!
    TreSemme works wonders!
For over the counter shampoo you should use herbal essences. It has a shampoo and conditioner for every hair type and plus it smells great. The best shampoo from a salon is paul mitchelle or biologe.

the 3 minute miracle is a really good conditioner and the slip detangler really works good also.

  • Does shampoo & conditioner have a shelf life?

Does shampoo %26amp; conditioner have a shelf life? If so how long?Does shampoo %26amp; conditioner have a shelf life?
usually if it does on the back or somewhere on the bottle it will have a little picture of a bottle cap that is open, and inside the picture it will have a number. This number represents the amount of months the shampoo is good for once it has been opened. This goes for all beauty products as wellDoes shampoo %26amp; conditioner have a shelf life?
Most hair products do have a shelf life. It can be upwards of a couple of years, but with the increase in more natural, organic-type ingredients, it can really shorten the life of the product. Any change in consistency or color or smell can indicate a product that is past it's prime. When in doubt, throw it out.
It is good until it grows hair of its own and has to have its own even smaller little bottles of shampoo and conditioner so that it can keep itself clean. Up til then is fine. Just be sure to shake it up good.

Is the tres emme curling shampoo and conditioner any good?

No. When you read the ingredients, it contains ammonium lauryl sulfate. That can be damaging on your hair. Look for the second ingredient to be Sodium lauryl sulfate :D IT is very gentleIs the tres emme curling shampoo and conditioner any good?
I don't know about the curling one, but Tresemme in general I don't like. It doesn't do much for my hair, and it makes my hair get greasy quicker than usual. Is the tres emme curling shampoo and conditioner any good?
I dont like the brand Tresemme to begin with so i cant imagine that the curling version would be any better.

Shampoo & conditioner that will help hair grow?

My friend is having a wedding over the summer and I REALLY want long hair by then. Mhair is shoulder length and I was at mid or lower chest by summer so is there any shampoo and conditioner that will help make my hair grow longer faster?Shampoo %26amp; conditioner that will help hair grow?
Hair goes through cycles of growth and seeming dormancy.

Ask a good stylist for tips. Increasing circulation to the scalp through scalp massage and scalp treatments might help.

If your scalp has a lot of build up from waxy shampoos it can make a difference too. (I just found out 2 in 1 shampoos can

    do this).

Good luck. I'm sure you'll look glorious for the wedding.

Have fun.Shampoo %26amp; conditioner that will help hair grow?
no never. hair grow abt 1cm every mounth and these r just some advertisements .
For shiny thicker seeming hair try ';mane and tail'; shamppoo and conditioner or ';biosilk'; the bio is available only in salons. but what will make your hair grow is protien. Shampoo wont do this only perhaps help with breakage. there are vitamins you can take to help hair and nails and ofcourse the protine. thats what hair is made of, soooo a suplement is what you need for this.

    froggy
Mane 'N Tail promotes hair growth. Also use their Carrot Oil Creme hairdressing. Message it on your hair and scalp with the balls of your fingers. This will help the blood to circulate which stimulates the hair follicles which promotes hair growth.
Of course not. Nothing will make your hair grow longer faster. Nature takes it time. You can try brushing it a lot with a good hair brush to stimulate the cells but nothing bought from a chemist or salon will work. If long hair is a must get some extensions
Try my magical cream - only $4 / shot. Free shipping and handling. Offer good while supplies last.
yah i dont think any shampoo can help with growth.

as long as she keeps it healthy im sure it will grow by summer..and if its not long enough theres alwats extensions
If u want a natural way of growing your hair.. oil massage them every 3 days... and tie them in a plat (braid), this prevents split ends and promotes growth of hair...
Baby no shampoo or conditioner is going to make your hair grow, but I totally feel your pain, hair never seems to grow fast enough does it? hair growth rates are determined by your genes, but there are a few things you can do that will promote hair growth. Having a really healthy diet, including lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, lean meat, fish, dairy and drinking lots of water will provide you with all the essentials for good hair growth. Taking skin hair and nails supplement will give you an added boost too. I use brahmi amla oil too, I rub it into my scalp and through to my ends the night before I wash my hair, this stuff is so nourishing for your hair and scalp. But in all honesty honey, it takes ages for your hair to grow, and the likelihood of it growing as much as you want in that short peroid of time is real slim. Why don't you consider extensions? They are fantastic and if you get the weave in or fusion ones done professionally, they don't damage your hair at all. Long hair instantly, what could be better than that?
try shampoo for babies hair maybe it works...... i hope.......
You can't make hair grow faster. Those advertisements you see, aren't real.

However, you can make you hair healthier, thus making it easier for your hair to grow. Just make sure you are protecting it against heats, conditioning, and getting a trim every three months.

Other than that, just keep reading up on it, and make sure to keep your hair healthy! :D

works well. apply moose.Does Sunsilk Volume Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner work?
I tried it a few weeks ago. It worked really well, it gave my hair more fluffy look and my hair was alot softer too. When drying my hair with the hair dryer I bend over and dry it with my head kinda upside down.
yes it works and it's the yellow anti-flat

Why is there always extra shampoo but the conditioner is always out?

coincidence...or not? that is the question. Why is there always extra shampoo but the conditioner is always out?
I think elves sneak into the shower at night and condition their hair while I'm asleep. I have the same problem and I make it a point to use less conditioner than shampoo because I only condition the ends of my hair from about ear level down. And I ALWAYS run out of conditioner first! It's so frustrating. I have no idea how that works...Why is there always extra shampoo but the conditioner is always out?
For this not to happen you need to use exactly the same amount of both every time you wash your hair. If you share your stuff with someone else, they have to do the same.

    Good luck
Most people use twice as much conditioner as shampoo.. like my sis.

But I have kinda oily hair, so I only condition the tips (Or they get gross).

So it balences out :) We have the same amout of conditioner as shampoo :P
XD It's the exact opposite in my house, we always have plenty of conditioner left but we need more shampoo.
because we use more conditioner than shampoo....i just ran out of conditioner and i have 2 bottles full of shampoo
I am quite the opposite i always have extra conditioner and run out of shampoo first.
cuz conditioner is thickerr... that's why i shampoo my hair twice %26amp; then condition it! :)

What is the best shampoo and conditioner?

for dry, hard, volumeless hair? What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
Whatever you do, DO NOT use Pantene.

I have tried pretty much every shampoo imaginable, and Pantene is horrible on your hair !

Try Dove, and use a clarifying shampoo and a good deep conditioning treatment once a week(:What is the best shampoo and conditioner?
Pantene, hands down. Most others are 'nothing special' like Dove (one of the worst) as is Herbal Essences and Tresemme. John Frieda is another one worth trying, too. Of course, there are products like Nexxus, which start at $12-13.
    I really like infusium
I use Dove. Its really good for treating dry hair. I have dry hair with a bit of frizz every now and this is really good. makes it all nice and smoothy smooth :)

As for adding volume, use a Pantene product (either a conditioner or shampoo). You can use a number of different products at the same time to treat different hair problems.
    TRESemm茅
I suggest that you visit your local beauty supply and purchase a professional shampoo and conditioner. I would suggest a moisturizing shampoo and if your hair is hard, I would go with a clarifying shampoo and alternate between the two shampoos. The clarifying shampoo will remove any buildup that you have on your hair and the moisturizing shampoo will give you the moisture you need to make it soft and manageable.

    Hope that helps ya!

What is a good shampoo and conditioner for greecy hair?

I'm a teenager and every time i wash my hair, the next day it's greecy again. Sometimes it feels greecy after i wash it ,. so I'm wondering what's the best shampoo and conditioner to use. What is a good shampoo and conditioner for greecy hair?
i use suave and my hair isnt that greasy so just try that plus its almost the cheapest brand you can find at wal mart!

John 3:16!!!What is a good shampoo and conditioner for greecy hair?
it's spelled greasy. greece is a country. anyway, just wash your hair everyday. i like herbal essences, any of their products are great, little build-up and a lot of clean. it may also be good to avoid conditioner for you as it probably makes your hair more greasy.
You need to wash it everyday. Do not use a ton of shampoo and conditioner. A dime size is all you need. I use back to basic. You can get it from a salon or beauty school. Its 12 bucks a bottle, but they are real big in size. Last time i bought some was 6 months ago.
a good shampoo and conditioner to use is herbal essance: Drama Clean. Wat u need to do is shampoo ur hair, but when u condition ur hair, u need to only put it on ur ROOTS! the reason why is because the conditioner only helps speed up the greasiness.
    Don't use conditioner.
Try shampooing your hair twice. I'm 25 and I have always had to wash my hair everyday because it's really oily as well.

  • Is TRESemme Thermal Recovary Replenishing Shampoo/Conditioner any good?

I recently bought a chi (hair striaghtner) and i cant stop using it :\ so my hair is gettin a little damaged .. does Tresenne Thermal Recovary Replenishing Shampoo/Conditioner work? and if not .. what are some other products i could use to protect my hair from heat damage... :SIs TRESemme Thermal Recovary Replenishing Shampoo/Conditioner any good?
I bought the conditioner but not the shampoo, and it works okay. I personally prefer Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioner more. But I really do love the Tressemme Heat Protection Spray. It makes my hair nice and smooth when I straighten it and almost looks like I got a blow-out from a salon.

Does Main 'N' Tail shampoo and conditioner work?

I'm interested in using it for my next shampoo and conditioner. I just wanna know if it really makes hair thicker, shiny, and grow fast. Thanks to all of ya. Oh and PLEASE BE HONEST! Thank youDoes Main 'N' Tail shampoo and conditioner work?
it was good, and the bottle lasts a loooong time.

it has a great smell and my hair seems much healthier

after using the conditioner! my hair was a lot less brittle.

thicker: i didn't notice anything major there.

shiny: definitely! my hair seems a lot shinier.

faster growth: not really, just healthier.

it's ok, but it's not as great as joico.Does Main 'N' Tail shampoo and conditioner work?
    yesss its frkkn aweome!!!

but it leaves ur hair smelling a little funky

Whats a good conditioner and shampoo for curly hair?

my hair is very thick and curly. i love it expect for one problem. there are hairs on the top that curl and you can see it and they dont say like the rest of my hair. anything to help? no straightening and i would prefer a shampoo or conditioner. i use herbal essenses or whatever right now as conditioner (for curls) and pantene for shampooWhats a good conditioner and shampoo for curly hair?
Pantene and Herbal Essences are just for scent. Being someone with curly hair much like yours, I'd say use a Redken or Matrix brand. They last a long time too.

You want to make sure your shampoo and conditioner are hydrating, not smoothing. Curly hair tends to be very dry.

A mousse, gel, or lotion afterward will hold your hair's curl. Not too much, though, that'll look greasy.Whats a good conditioner and shampoo for curly hair?
FINALLY somebody who has the same problem as me lol

i have the same exact hair as you do, from what you described.

i use TREsemme shampoo and conditioner, it's better to use both of the same conditioner and shampoo, like the same brand because they're made to work together. the shampoo and conditioner you use doesn't really help if you have curl flyaways, but it does a little. use tresemme de-frizzing gel stuff, you can get it anywhere, it fixes the fuzzys and doesn't make your hair feel like a metal plank :)

mine please! (you can also see what kind of hair i have)

Is it ok if i use a regular shampoo that also has conditioner in it as a leave in conditioner?

I use pert plus %26amp; it's a shampoo %26amp; conditioner at the same time. On the back it says you can use it as a regular conditioner %26amp; to deep condition your hair but I was wondering if it was ok to use it as a leave in conditioner? If not, what would you guys recommend as a good leave in conditioner? Is it ok if i use a regular shampoo that also has conditioner in it as a leave in conditioner?
No do not use it as a leave in conditioner. It will weigh your hair down and could even damage it to use it that way.. a good leave in conditioner would be something like a spray in such as Infusion. But there are lots of different ones you can buy just at Walmart or anywhereIs it ok if i use a regular shampoo that also has conditioner in it as a leave in conditioner?
def not b/c it will make your hair look greasy b/c the shampoo is in it go to a hair place and buy some leave in conditioner
that would mean ur also leaving the shampoo in ur hair.

i wouldn't recommend it. it'll probably make ur hair look greasy or gross.
not good to leave in at all! anything that says it is a leave in conditioner is alright to use.

Iv been using aussie shampoo and conditioner for some time?

however ,we are soposed to change our shampoos each month ,but the smell of the aussie product is so nice iv been using it for 3 months , i need to change it ,so have any ladys ever used ,';CHARLES WORTHINGTON ';london i mean the full volume shampoo %26amp;conditioner, what are your views on this product please ?Iv been using aussie shampoo and conditioner for some time?
I have used the Charles Worthington RESULTS collection and it is wonderful. It leaves my hair super soft and with incredible shine. Its a great product...Good luck!Iv been using aussie shampoo and conditioner for some time?
Your hair doesn't have a mind of it's own nor a nose. It can't tell the difference between the soaps that you use on your hair. I don't believe in that suggestion.
Hi, I have to agree with you Aussie shampoo/conditioner is great and has a wonderful smell, people are always commenting on how nice my hair smells, I am not very tall, below nose level of most. So having nice smelly hair is important. lol . I have tried various Charles Worthington products in the past and I found they were to ';heavy'; and had shampoo everyday.... I also was worried about the same ';myth'; After having too many bad hair days I now stick to Aussie shampoo/condition and inter change type I use. i.e. ';damaged unhappy hair and change to say Colour mate the next. Hope this helps a little...('',)
dont bother changing it if youre happy with it.

i love aussie stuff it smells so good i could eat it lol
Lol, I also use aussie roo! Just so you know, they have different smells..... luck!

    bi
Apparently it's a myth that you need to change shampoos/conditioners every few months - you only need to change them if they leave a build-up in your hair. Check the side of your Aussie shampoo/conditioner bottles because I'm sure they make the claim that they don't leave build-up. If that's the case you can carry on using them to your hearts content. And who wouldn't want to...I love the smell of Aussie Mega Conditioner...it smells like pink bubblegum!
omg =]] i have them two! charles worthington reseal moisture and aussie products!!

My hair is very healthy from using dove its called restore and balance!! and laying off the conditioner is good for your hair too did you know? aparently your hair gets dependent on it if you use it all the time so use dove but charles worthington is good for now and again use!

  • Does Herbal Essences' new shampoo and conditioner, Tousle Me Softly actually work?

Oh my god I asked my self the same question so I went out and bought it and tried it out. Now my hair already has alot of volume so you may get different results but it worked for me! I love the herbal essences collection but I notice my hair is really dry and bot soft when I use it.

    Hope I helped!!!

Is this a good shampoo and conditioner?

I use Tresseme s/c and I think it works fine. it volumizes my hair and I really like it but... I also thought that pantene was a good shampoo too but then everybody said that it actaually destroyed your hair!!!! Is there something I should know about this tresseme stuff? Is it actually screwing my hair up or is it good. If not give me some suggestions:) THXIs this a good shampoo and conditioner?
Tressame and pantene are both great products. They work really well with my long curly hair.Herbal essences Is very drying to the hair so steer clearIs this a good shampoo and conditioner?
I've worked in a hair salon since March. There are lists and list of hair products that will DESTROY your hair. Treseme has alcohol and chemicals in it which is not good for your hair. It won't destroy it but it won't help split ends. I would get TIGI oatmeal and honey shampoo and conditioner, very good for the hair and scalp. Its anywhere from $8.95 to $20.95 a bottle but very worth it. I use Regis design line GET IT PUMPED and it works very well on volumizing and the scent is amazing. Very healthy for your hair.
I use Tresseme and my hair is very healthy, or so the hair dresser said!!!
    herbal essance
    good stuff ;]

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to make your hair curly when you have naturally straight hair?

IDK but try getting layers, i used to have really straigt hair, now i got some wavyness with the layers!!!!!What is the best shampoo and conditioner to make your hair curly when you have naturally straight hair?
my hair is dead straight, i accidently used tony and guy shampoo and conditioner for luscious curls or something. thinking it was just regular shampoo and that and just left it to dry, my hair went wavy and when i realised i read the instructions and you are meant to twist it and let it dry so if i did nothing and got a result if you used it and followed the instructions you will have gorgeous curls in no time =)

xWhat is the best shampoo and conditioner to make your hair curly when you have naturally straight hair?
idk about shampoo but there is a product called ';Spray it Curly'; that after a shower you spray your hair with. It works amazingly well. My straight hair became really wavy after a few sprays

    http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100316%26amp;id=prod3121451
    herbal essenses: totally twisted!!

but results do vary, you should get a perm

if you want curly hair that lasts
    they have that?

Is it okay to use different shampoo and a different conditioner?

can i use head and shoulders shampoo and garnier conditioner? Or is it bad?Is it okay to use different shampoo and a different conditioner?
You can use the combination. It's fine ......Is it okay to use different shampoo and a different conditioner?
i do and my hair's fine.
its better to use both of the same product, but you can mix and match, doesnt matter, it wont ruin your hair
It's not bad, but if you are prone to frizz it might make it worse.
In the long run, it really doesn't matter. Companies just want you to buy more of their products. It doesn't do any damage to your hair to use different products whatsoever.
Its fine if you use two different kinds. But it is usually recommended to use the same kind (for example, Pantene Classic Clean Shampoo AND conditioner for best results), but if you find that using two different brands works for you, stick with it!

    :)
yes, its ok, i do it all the time and my hair is fine! :D good luck!

Can i mix my shampoo and conditioner?

So i have lots of diff shampoos and conditioners i like to use becasue they all do something different..But i hate having like three diff shampoo and conditioner bottles plus its takes forever to wash my hair..I was wondering can i get like one big bottle and mix my shampoos into one and conditioners into another?..or will it change the way the way they work? Can i mix my shampoo and conditioner?
No... You don't want to mix them. The chemical make up of the shampoo is what makes it the type of shampoo it is. You mix it and they are likely to counteract each other and do nothing for you. Instead, maybe try just using them one at a time. Use one shampoo one day (or week), then another the next day (or week), then another. Then start back over. It's always good to mix things up, but you shouldn't be shampooing your hair 3 times in one day anyways. That's not good for your hair. Plus changing up the shampoo you are using will keep your hair fresh. If your hair gets used to one shampoo it will become dull and lifeless. Can i mix my shampoo and conditioner?
You really don't need to wash your hair that many times a day. You're not helping it by overloading it with so many products. My suggestion is to choose the best overall shampoo and conditioner for your hair, and stick to one product at a time. You don't even need to wash your hair every day if your hair isn't too oily.
I would say it would change the way they work... but it wouldn't hurt to try. I would start off mixing just a little bit in a small bottle, leaving it in there for a few days to see what the basic reaction of it would be, and then if its OK, try to use it and see what happens to your hair. You might not get the full effect of them though, they might dilute eachother out.
I wouldn't mix any. I would never suggest it.

    Chemicals used are different.

Best to put at least 1 set in storage..Do that with the latest addition. Check the date.

Use 1 set for a month and change for the next. That way, finish 2 sets.

It is always good to use products of one company at one time.
? You never mentioned washing your hair 3 times a day, where are they getting that from? I tried that,it either makes your shampoo not lather up,or you get no condition benefit. It's too hard to get the balance right. How about one of those 2 in 1 products out there?
No. Dont mix it. Use shampo first and wash well. Then apply conditioner. You dont have to wash thouroughly. Let some conditioner remain in your hair.
It would change they way they work the shampoo would wash out all the other stuff that's it's job therefore your hair would not be conditioned
    Yeah. What Kimmeh said.
Kelly C is right. One of my science teachers told me that. :)

What shampoo and conditioner should I use?

One of my friends has the best feeling hair and I want the same? what should I use.Don't tell me to brush is either cause I do.Please tell meWhat shampoo and conditioner should I use?
Ive been told that Dove shampoo and conditioner makes your hair feeling really soft. I like the Herbal Essences stuff. I hate the Frucises line, despite the commercials that say it makes your hair stronger. In my experience that one makes my hair a bit brittle, and dry.

I don't really like the 2in1 stuff ether, the mix just doesn't work for me.

I end up using Axe Body wash too.

My favorite though is the Herbal Essences line. What shampoo and conditioner should I use?
    use more conditioner then shampoo

i like kids 2-1 with herbal essences conditioner

well if you blow dry or straighten your hair i'd suggest...

Tresemme heat recovery shampoo and conditioner.

    i love it.
well, depends on your hairtype. i use Garnier Fructis, and that makes it smell really good and it maks it very non- frizzy. i have like huge curly hair, but it makes my curls look better. you could also use Pantene, but it doesnt smell as good. herbal Essence is pretty awesome. if you ahve thick hair, whatever you do, DO NOT USE VOLUMIZING SHAMP OR CONDIT.!!!!!!!!!!! if you ahve thin hair and you want more volume. go for it, but really we need to know what type of hair you have, and your friends hair. also, ask what she uses. by the way, all the product i have recomended is very affordable and comes in massive quantities.
well if you want hair like hers, ask her...
Elvive Nutri-Gloss Light, shiny hair and leaves it feeling light and fluffy

  • Question about SHIMMER LIGHTS shampoo and conditioner?

so iv just become blonde.. and im planning on using shimmer lights. but i have a few brown low lights under some of my blonde. is it okay if the shampoo and conditioner gets on the brown??Question about SHIMMER LIGHTS shampoo and conditioner?
Yes. My hair is bleached on the top and it is dark brown underneath and it only brightens my blonde. It won't do anything to the brown because it is made only to work on blonde. But be careful because one time I left it in too long and it turned my blonde purpleish-greyish.

Best shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair?

I have naturally blonde hair any sugestions for a good shampoo and conditioner to bring back out the natural goodness and highlights of my hair as it seems to be going dark and dullBest shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair?
Bed Head: Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner. i love that stuff and it works wonders. makes your hair soft and healthy while refreshing your blonde.Best shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair?
biolage. you will get what you pay for. If you want your hair to be dryed out and split use herbal essences. You will pay a good price for good shampoo. just depends how much you care about your hair!
since you have light hair you should use a clear shampoo because creamy or colored shampoos leave build up in your hair, they make special shampoos for people with blonde hair and they work really well
I like the Bedhead shampoo and conditioner...I can't remember the exact name for blonde color, but they are purple!
Herbal essences blond expressions makes the blond look less dull and helps make it healthier too. It works very well.

What's the best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair?
For curly hair I would say the best shampoo and conditioner is Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. A great leave in conditioner is Bumble and Bumble.

As for the Garnier Animal Testing thing:

Garnier is owned by L'Oreal, and they do animal testing, but I can't say that means Garnier does too, but they probably do.

A great organic shampoo and conditioner is Jason.

I've never heard of humectress though.

Honestly, there is no way to thicken your hair, but there is a way to make it look volumized, which is to either

    a) right after you take a shower, instead of blowdrying normally, turn your head upside down and blowdry

    OR

    b) turn your head upside down and SPRAYY!!!!

    hope this helps!

Aussie Shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair?

Do you guy's think that Aussie fades color treated hair faster then other brands. Or if any of you dye your hair red do you know of any good S%26amp;C? Thanks in advanceAussie Shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair?
I use Aussie. I think it's pretty great. I dyed my hair from light brown back to my natural color a few months ago and it has faded quite a bit - however, I can't say that it's the shampoo %26amp; conditioner's fault because my color always fades a bit anyway.

I recommend John Frieda in Radiant Red. I've used their Brilliant Brunette shampoo, conditioner, %26amp; glaze and they were probably the best hair products I've ever used. It really brightens up your color and makes your hair very shiny.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the glaze can get messy. It very slightly stains your hands and bathtub/showercurtan, etc. NOT permanently, it comes off quite easily but it can get annoying. If not for dying my hair black, I would still use it.Aussie Shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair?
Aussie brand products were actually phased out of selling in Australia in the 90s because we didn't really like the products. So, i'd say yes, it probably fades colour.
It's funny you should mention this because since I have been using aussie shampoo my hair seem, faded, not very shiny and static! I personally use brilliant brunette on my dark brown hair so maybe something from the John Frieda range would be worth a try on your red hair!

Garnier Fructis colour shield. They have a shampoo and a conditioner. They cell it at CVS and other pharmacies.
    garnier fructice- color.
there are shampoos and conditioners made especially for dyed hair. pantene and tresseme are just a coulple.. your dyed hair will fade with washing but these can help keep your hair shiny and manageable. it takes roughly 6 weeks and you need to dye your hair again. nothing permanent cause your hair grows out so the roots need to be done...

I love John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette. What is the best kind shampoo/conditioner?

Aussie Moist you can get it at Wal-Mart
    PANTENE!! It's America's #1 most efficient!
Yeah, it really depends on what your hair is like. I have really thick hair and I just started using Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine shampoo %26amp; conditioner. And if you have hair like me, the Smoothing Milk stuff works really good for keeping thick hair tamed. It seems to be a pretty good brand.
It all depends on your type...whether you have oily hair or dry hair, if you need volumizing, or curl intensifying, if your hair is colored, or whether or not you use heat styling, etc. The best overall answer is...anything from a professional line is always good, go into a highly recommended salon and ask a stylist which products they have that would be best for your hair type. Most stylists make a commission off of retail, so they are wiling to take the time to help you.
I love Garnier Fructis. I use the Sleek and Shine because my hair gets frizzy and it eliminates that. WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT USE PANTENE!!!!

.Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair.?
Try Tigi or john Frieda but usually the best thing for frizzies is a hot oil treatment
Sunsilk No Frizz (blue bottle) has worked for me, especially when paired with John Freida's Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock serum.

Also, this is just a weird hair drying tip I've found: (my hair is between curly and straight, I tend to blow dry it straight): after showering I put my hair in a ponytail and blow dry the top of my head from top to bottom so that the ';frizzies'; are forced downward. Once the top of my head is dry, I let down the rest of my hair and continue to blow dry. My hair dryer has a narrowing filter on the end of it so that the air comes out more concentrated; with more force.

    Good luck!
I have heard of hemp i have not used it but i believe its ment 2 be very good. I have thick frizzy hair %26amp; use delva ph balance %26amp; use a ghd straightener i find that works 4 me also i only wash my hair 1 a week 2 start with it drove me mad but now it doesnt even get oily.

I have used many many shampoo's and conditioners and I frankly can't see the difference between most of them. It's just the brand that makes it cost more. So I use shampoo and conditioner that has not been tested on animals. What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use?

  • Is it okay to use a different brand conditioner with a dandruff shampoo?

I have thick hair and I only use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner which make my hair nice and soft. I stopped using my old dandruff shampoo a while back and now I'm starting to use Nizoral since the weather lately has been making my scalp itch and flake. Would it be fine if I used my usual moisturizing conditioner with the Nizoral? I feel like if I do, my conditioner will wash out the ingredients of the Nizoral that make it effective. Is it okay to use a different brand conditioner with a dandruff shampoo?
i use both all the time. and i also have thick hair so using both is fine with me. xDIs it okay to use a different brand conditioner with a dandruff shampoo?
I think it will still work, but may not be quite as effective as using both anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner. However, if it's only the weather causing your dandruff it shouldn't be too bad anyway, so I think it will still work.
It should work. I've used Head and Shoulders shampoo with my regular Nexxus conditioner, and there's never been a problem. (: However, the dandruff shampoo MIGHT become a bit less effective.
it's fine but it would work better if u used the same brand!
    Yes. Not a problem.
yeah. I do it all the time. My hair needs a good conditioner that I cant use a special dandruff conditioner on my hair.
    Yes, it's fine.

Whats the best shampoo and conditioner going?

my favourite is pantene ice shine and nicky clarke shampoo and conditioner as it makes ur hair soft shiny and easy vto handle, whats urs? and y?Whats the best shampoo and conditioner going?
I don't always think the price makes the difference to the quality. I tried something that cost 拢8 from my hairdresser and it left it greasy and limp. Then when I was a bit short of cash I bought Sainsburys own coconut shampoo and conditioner which was 80p a bottle and it was amazing. My hair was sort and shiny and tangle free afterwards. So it really depends how your hair reacts to different products. Shop around, but dont always go for the most pricey, it wont always be the best. Happy New Year :)Whats the best shampoo and conditioner going?

The best i've used are Sebastian Body Double Thick-In Shampoo and Conditioner. I have really stupidly fine hair and so far these are the only products i've found which actually give my hair that extra bit of ooomph it so desperately needs! They are pricey though.
Rehab from Lush is a miracle cure for rubbish hair! It smells anything but lush, but it makes my hair incredibly shiny and strong. Worth a try when you overdid it with the dye and straighteners! ;o)
