Is that a safe effective way to lighten my hair subtly? If I put a little hydrogen peroxide in with my shampoo and/or conditioner?
You might have better luck putting some lemon juice in your hair and then sitting out in the sun, then wash and dry as normal, it will give your hair a more natural look than the peroxide. If I put a little hydrogen peroxide in with my shampoo and/or conditioner?
it does lighten a bit, but tends to make it orangy...you're better off getting a real lightener or highlights.
Oh, be careful I added a little peroxide to my hairspray to get that effect when I was in highschool. I'm strawberry blonde naturally and it gave my hair a horrible orangeish hue. It had to be fixed professionally. Also, Sun-in did the same thing to a blonde friend of mine, so be cautious of that too.
no, it wont do crap. tried it when i was like fourteen. tried soaking my head in it too, but that only works if you spend time in the sun while its in your hair, and that can take a couple of tries.
It would fizzzzzzzzzzz and slightly lighten your hair a bit too.
kinda of but you will need hydrogen peroxide for colr processing not the kind for cuts and scrapes try 20 volome.
absoutely nothing will happens
Get real.....the residue will burn, burn, burn until it breaks your hair off.The other chance is that it will only touch your hair for a short time and probably turn it Orange.
When peroxide touches your hair it changes colours, not direct to blonde but through a sequence of colours.
The first being a horrible orange and then 10/15 mins later it starts to change colour again to a more blonde colour........
So I think you need to rethink your plan...
no, if anything you will have slightly orange hair. Household hydrogen peroxide isn't the same as the peroxide used in haircolor. If you want a subtle highlight you should see a professional stylist. Especially with men, it can be very tricky to achieve desired results without looking like an idiot (sorry guys, but it's true) It's best left to the experts, trust me.
You'll go bald.
no it is not meant for hair. you can go to local beauty supply and get a hair lightener or a peroxide for your hair
NO it will damage your hair and turn it a ugly orange color
I'm not so sure that's the best thing for your hair... there are other ways of doing it. you can get a light bleach for your hair, and do it that way. the amount of how light it gets is directly proportional to how long you leave it in. Also, if you go swimming a lot, stay in the sun and swim in pools with lots of chlorine. That will certainly work, and it's a lot of fun!
