Is Using a No-Brand Shampoo & Conditioner bad for your hair?

Because i want to know? See my friend always buy a no brand shampoo and conditioner from a store with their name! so it is cheap can that cheap shampoo and conditioner damage your hair or is it the same as a Branded Shampoo and Conditioner?

Thanxx!

and if it is bad, what can happen to your hair?Is Using a No-Brand Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner bad for your hair?
It would probably depend on the shampoo itself..

The most common problem with no-brand shampoos is that they are very diluted. They have a high content of water in them which is why they are so cheap! If they have this much water in them they can dry your hair out a lot. Hope this helps! Is Using a No-Brand Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner bad for your hair?
I use suave sometimes and though it doesn't condition as well as more expensive, brand name shampoos and conditioners, it still does the trick. I wouldn't recommend using cheap shampoo though if you have chemically treated or colored hair... It could fade the color 10x faster. It's very much worth it to buy a little more brand name shampoo and conditioner if you have treated hair.
Well, cheap shampoo only cleans your hair, it doesn't put any effect on it, like Charles Worthington, moisture lock. [Really good brand] So really, no brand shampoo is chemical, so damages your hair.

Branded is much better, such as Tesemme, Pantene, Ice White, Heads and shoulders, there's loads out there, more expensive ones has better quality :)
I have looong hair and I have noticed if I use off brands then my hair will dry out and its not a good thing. I prefer to atleast use pantene. If you have short hair though, I would not see why you couldn't use suave or white rain. Long hair though desires more moisture.
