me and my bestie ALWAYS do this I wash mine right after I take the dye out and she wait 2hours .. works fine... never had a problem were 20 now been doing it since 13 so yeah..What will happen if I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner an hour after I dyed it?

Absoulutly nothing:), I've done it many times, it will just get clean!
the color will fade if you dont use the one in the box.
