Why does salon brand shampoo and conditioner leave a matted/greasy residue in my hair, but cheap brands don't?

I've bought several different brands of salon shampoo and conditioner and it all does the same thing... then I'll use something like pantene or garnier the next day and it will be gone. I'm rinsing so so well too because I thought I just wasn't rinsing well enough.Why does salon brand shampoo and conditioner leave a matted/greasy residue in my hair, but cheap brands don't?
what happens is that the cheaper brands are thicker so you use less of it than the salon shampoo with more water





it washes your hair better and has less chemicals
