My hair is very long and also color treated. The salon products I buy are rather expensive, (nickel and diming me to death)and I really should be saving that money for more constructive things, lol. Any help would be appreciated. tyI have naturally curly hair, is there a shampoo and conditioner that is found in stores that is good?
Are you Black , White or Bi-racial? 'Cause I don't know if the products that I suggest will work for you. Anyway, try Soft %26amp; Beautiful Botanicals. I'm black but I don't have very coarse hair and I've just gone from chemical relaxing back to a natural style, I love this stuff. I use the shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer and the oil sheen (occasionally). The prices are good. The shampoo and conditioner comes in 6oz tubes (which doesn't sound like alot but it is) that cost $2.99 each. The moisturizer (which is non-greasy) is also 6oz and that costs $3.69. You might not want the sheen (depending on your hair type it might be too greasy), but that also comes in a 6oz can that costs $2.79. Everything for under $20 so no more ';nickel and diming you to death';. LOL! They have other products as well, so visit their website at www.proline-intl.com I hope this was helpful.I have naturally curly hair, is there a shampoo and conditioner that is found in stores that is good?
try pantene pro v perfect for me but find ur type of hair written on the bottle
you probably never had a stylist show you and teach you how to use the products. this irritates me to no end. how do they (stylists) expect you to love your hair?
make sure it is totally wet before applying shampoo. small amount in palm of hand and rub hands together; dab on midshaft of hair then scalp and massage the scalp - do not rub hair together. finger comb thru and rinse.
towel dry. very important. if your hair is wet then where does the conditioner go? on top of the water because oil and water don't mix. apply conditioner same way as shampoo - do not rub hair together (causes split ends and frizz), finger comb and rinse with cool water.
when towel drying make sure not to rub your hair - dab it well and squeeze it and wring it.
try using products for ethnic hair if it is frizzy. you might have high protein hair that needs moisture.
Pantene Pro-v is the best my mom and sista both have curly and color-treated hair and it works so well
